They operated for several years before the interview system opened, people were a lot more willing to share invites because accounts were perceived to be less valuable than they are the days and there was no such thing as official applications or recruitment.

I would consider cabal to be a larger group than just WCD, BTN, and PTP, as there are a bunch of sites that co-operate with them such as GGn, Bib, BCG, and AHD. Also it's not enough to just say that they're top tier sites since HDB is considered top tier and does not co-operate with the cabal trackers.

You'll be fine. I use 4 different IPs to connect to WCD and never had any problems. They will get suspicious though if you torrent from different IPs at the same time or use IPs from different countries.

That's your call. If you do something stupid enough to warrant staff of one tracker talking to another tracker about you, they'd be sharing your IP address(es) anyway, so swapping usernames and emails isn't going to keep you safe.

If I had a tracker, I'd require every member to have a seedbox or at least 100 megabits/s upload.
