Nothing. Gnome is great, you just need to learn how to use it. It's amazing on a multi-monitor desktop, not so good on laptops. i3 is best for laptops because changing workspaces is less annoying.

Absolutely nothing. It's the best desktop platform I've ever used in life and I used Windows for decades.
It does everything right and they've have perfected the idea of the "desktop".
It's like a cult. Once you join the cult there is no leaving, No one who has truly experienced GNOME would speak badly of it.
