i would say fury
can be had for $300 from amazon after tax if you use discover credit card

if that is your budget you can get a 980ti

yes
gaaaaaaaaymer

thanks.

show me where you can get a new 980ti for $300

show me where i can fuck your mum for $300

I'm in the UK. I can get a 980 non ti around my price.

I was thinking of getting the Fury to future proof a bit with HBM, but 390x beats it out 50% of the time, especially at 1080p.

I want to game at 4k at reasonable frame rates, 30fps+. No AA of course.

Fury. It has better performance than the 480 and while it only has 4GB of VRAM, its plenty for 1920x1080 or even 2560x1440.
I'm pushing 2560x1440@144hz on a Fury X and while no, most games won't reach 144hz, they don't need to do so. Most games do however stay safely above 60.

I might be an AMD fag but I've seen plenty of used 980 Ti floating around for $300. Someone on Craigslist near me has a EVGA hybrid(stock water cooling) for $300. Micro center has open box ones for $290. Pick one faggot

nothing can do 4k right now

you need to wait for HBM3 for affordable 4k. its only 4 year away.

where do you live? if you're in the uk you can pick up a brand new 980 ti for not much more than £350. used is even cheaper.

All benchmarks sit around 25-30fps with AA. Without AA it should be pushing 30-40fps right?

The fury is pretty dope and it does beat the 480 on many games but he 480 has more modern technology, with more features and 8GB of VRAM.

I'd go for the 480 and overclock it a bit

>390X
67.2 GP/s, 184.8 GT/s, 384 GB/s, 5913.6 GFLOPS

>RX 480
35.8 GP/s, 161.3 GT/s, 256 GB/s, 5161 GFLOPS

>R9 Fury
64 GP/s, 224 GT/s, 512 GB/s, 7168 GFLOPS

If they're the same price, the R9 Fury wins by a big margin.

>I want to game at 4k at reasonable frame rates, 30fps+. No AA of course.
What games?

check benchmarks. it doesn't win by much and an overclocked 480 can get very near and win in some gmaes

i said new, not used fag!
you want to risk $300 off craiglists, go ahead
micro center, maybe because at least you can return

other then that, yo're a retard

show me where 480 beats out a fury
difference in price between 480 vs fury is ~$30
i'll still take the fury
480 has 8 gb of ram but it lacks the raw horsepower to take advantage of that ram

this is probably one of the best 480 on the market right now and just look at the benches and realize that you're talking out of your ass

Dead link?

Get a 390x or Fury for as cheap as possible and undervolt that bitch by -100mV. Makes the power draw low as fuck while the performance stays high as fuck.
