Well I could provide you some base guidelines but I guess it's pretty hard to do.
I know about css & gtk a bit but man I don't know shit about the rest.

but I'm prettu sure you could already achieve a similar look with compiz.
Btw do you have the one you posted yesterday? (with the darker background image)

Old thread is there Didn't save the different versions of the picture since I didn't think it could be useful.
But I still have all the UI elements in an .ai file.

Duuuuuuude i used to do this type of shit all the time growing up

i might post here later

Nice then, what did you do?
Any examples?

Whats that search plugin you have at the top right corner?

That's a mockup so not a real thing.

>fuck games, games are shit
>fuck functional desktops, must look pretty instead
Fucking Cred Forums

>having to click one tiny button to display the tray icons
>huge taskbar with empty space where the tray icons could be displayed all the time

No one would use your gimmicky shit. No sane person, that is.

Care to explain the 'games' thing and 'functional desktop' ?

Huge ? What the fuck are you on about ?
The top panel is completely fine.
Tray icons look horrible as fuck most of the time, having just one button to click just to display them wouldn't be much of a shame.

>Win
>More functional than Linux
kek

Literary more sturdy then an Linux DM.

bspwm + fish running on arch.

I'm working on my scripting so I'll be able to make bspwm do whatever I want eventually.

I want a shred that put zeroes in the "free" memory of my HDD. This way nobody will be able to recover my deleted files.

There are lots of tools that do that.
