Just bought it. Thanks.

I hope your life is just as miserable as you're making it out to be.

Why would it be just based on this?

Just bought it thanks OP

Now I'm gonna resell it to a friend for 400 dollars kek

yo is this actually a good deal? my crapple air is like 6 years old pretty slow and i don't have any real attachment to os x. should i buy one??

2nd Gen Core i5, an SSD that's installed onto the motherboard which gives you an extra space for an additional hdd in the caddy, what's not to like?

I'm actually torn between

I was looking at this yesterday actually

alright fuck it im buying one. looks like the best price on ebay that doesnt have bullshit like "WORKS SOME CASE CRACKS KEY MISSING NO POWER BRICK INCLUDED" in the description

>Win8-Pro
>paying for the botnet

wew

I got a t420 for the same price last year. Works great. I bought my own ssd though for it.

1600x900? wtf is this, do you hate your eyes

What is good about thinkpad? My asus notebook I've had for two years and is getting old so I was decided between an i5 asus notebook or a thinkpad.

better than the typical 1366x768 that people literally pay upwards of $600 for

>Other people eat shit so that makes eating dirt fine.

the fuck are you on about? Do you not realize that laptop manufacturers have been jewing consumers for the past 4 years with the same screen resolution that is barely any larger than 1280x720?

how easy is it to put 16gb into one of these? lots of disassembly to get to both ram slots?

bought 2 t420's (for work) with similar specs and 250gb hdd's about 18 months ago..

they were ~ 200-220

seems like ~18 months depriciation.

so good deal, but probably about what you should be able to get them for, well worth it.

1366x768 being shit doesn't make 1600x900 good, you retard.

na, not hard at all.

ram is easy to upgrade for basically any laptop except for *ultrabooks* (read MBA / X1 etc..)

It's better, not to mention on a 14" it looks much better

its fine

My T420 is 1600x900. leaps and bounds better than garbage 1366x768 panels. For the price there is little better. My buddy bought a brand new HP Probook with th gen i5 etc for $600 and still had a 768p screen.

Any questions OP I'm here.

What line of thinkpads is the best option?

Many are fine and each has their use. T4xx series for decent power in smaller size. W5xx series to get higher end power in a 15.6" size. For instance an 8 thread i7 and dedicated nvidia quadro graphics.

X series are for decent power but with smaller and lighter footprint. Keep in mind the smaller footprint means less cooling capability so don't expect to be maxing out your CPU too often for too long.

t4xx and x1 are the only ones I would look at.

Not saying there arnt any other sku's worth looking at, just for me personally I wouldnt need anything else.

Bought one
150 is pretty good considering the screen
