The best SOC is the Snapdragon 650/652. It's a great balance of power and battery life and even beat the Snapdragon 801 in benchmarks. But for some reason companies don't want to release many phones with this SOC.

They're amazing no matter the lighting. The point is that in the dark you can't see the bezels so you can't see where the screen ends. Of course that's not true when there's lighting because you can see the fucking bezels, you moron.

I've flip flopped between AMOLED and IPS for the past 6 years in terms of phones, AMOLED is always better looking, better blacks, more color accurate, much better sunlight viewability, etc.
