Why would you be ashamed to run the best operating system on earth?

debian + dotdeb repositories

is it any good?

I run Fedora and I'm not ashamed either.

How does it feel to be out of the closet user?

I run Windows 10 and I am not ashamed.

I would use Debian but i am too used to unstable software from the AUR. I like new shit. :z

I have two machines with Debian and two other with Windows 10
I feel okay

you should be. you're bad. you should feel bad.

I'm glad that you're all doing well and are not ashamed.

Serious question:
Is there any distro Cred Forums doesn't hate on?

Gentoo. Install Gentoo.

Fucking retarded meme.

Linux From Scratch

Have fun at the debian pride parade?

If you're using Linux, I'm surprised you can even walk, let alone run.

I run kubuntu. Not afraid to admit I run the most beautiful os full of options. It takes courage to admit this

are you a cute anime lesbian girl?

I run Gentoo and I am not a meme.

Lesbian debian is a dyke, the rest are pure and not corrupted by social justice.

I'm using debian on my librebooted x200.

I have arch on my desktop and ubuntu server on my server. I think I may switch everything to debian. I have debian on one drive in my desktop, but I still need to get graphics working. The reason that I went with arch is because it has very new packages, which I needed to get my GPU passthrough working.

>tfw using Elementary OS
It's fucking /comfy/

It's fucking limited

I was thinking of trying it
why the fuck is it so much of a pain in the ass to install?

take the hint

Cred Forums hates on everything.

And off it.

TempleOS

Mate... those adverts are catered to your interests, not his

Debian is a great distro in my opinion. The stable branch is rock solid so it won't crash when you need to get work done, it's a community project so no company owns it, it's used by many universities and other buisnesses so it has a lot of support (I think even microsoft was using debian docker images?), and it has tons of software in its repositories.

I'm pretty happy with debian.

Slackware and BSD. Never see anybody expressing anything but nostalgic reminecense for these two handsome boys.

Will you be ashamed of it after sjws ruin it?

I'm not going to ruin it

Debian is okay, i was peeved when it switched to systemD, it made me switch to antiX, what debian should do is include an option to tick which init system the user wants to use during install of the OS and all will be good again,

Slackware is okay, Salix is great for lazy old slackers,

the BSDs' is a little too archaic and progress is too slow for my taste

Ok.

>Not being ashamed of using Systemd/Debian

You should be

it does kinda suck
but I'm to lazy to do anything about it.
maybe this friday I'll get a bottle and install gentoo

>debian should do is include an option to tick which init system the user wants
Too much work and there is Devuan if don't like systemd.

You can still remove systemd and install old sysvinit back

I hope just in qemu.
Dont let it touch the real metal.

Faggot

>slackware
>copy of pat's hdd

im trying it out now

I've seen people hate on slack here

Its mostly "lol 90s linux" and "lol no package managment lol" archbaby shitposting

I run Debian on both my desktop and my chinkpad.
But I dual boot W7 on my desktop to muh games

But it's true. Why reject automatic dependency resolution? There is ucm, but the only thing good about it that i noticed was that it was very verbose.

I wouldnt go as far as to call people who prefer doing sonething else other than solving problems they routinely solve babies.

Learn to compile from source if you actually need the most bleeding edge broken programs.

It's a popular distro and used by a lot of people for various reasons. Why be ashamed?

Aur is about compiling from the source

There is only one linux and Ian is its prophet.

ubuntu is shit, but debian is a complete and awesome operating system

>typical debibabby

He died for our googles.

it was my first distro, good stuff

>Not using Mint and stop being an autistic faggot

are you guys running debian testing or stable?
