Tfw fell for the 500 watt ATX PSU meme

>tfw fell for the 500 watt ATX PSU meme

>tfw didn't

Whats wrong with it?

It's always better to get a quality 300W PSU instead.

Really? And here I was thinking my 500w was the thing crashing my 1070.

Hey, easy there mate. Mine R9 290 is only 90° C under load.

SAME. I could probably have been fine with 600 W, I don't really know what I was thinking.

Corsair doesn't make PSU's, they rebrand them.
Many of their rebranded stock is/was shared among many other vendors. They are also usually quality units, you just got unlucky or are lying simply to bash Corsair.
>Hur dur I know some engine configurations
So tell me, which one should he have picked? Oh wait, they're all loud as fuck.

So learn from your mistakes and actually do research next time.
That aside, now you have tonnes of overhead and frankly, lower output units are sometimes only $10 cheaper.

Well it's not like I'm gonna run out and buy a new PSU just for that reason. When I had done my research, I had just done this for expansion in case I ever wanted to.

I really haven't wanted to do any expansion whatsoever, so idk. At least I never have to worry about running out of power, yeah.

Nevermind my Hurdur, I hurdur'd too fast.

I went full overkill and I knew damn well what I was thinking: I'll spend a little extra money to be absolutely certain that there will be no power shortage to fry my shit.
