This, buy fucking Redmi or some shit.

Wonder when my SSD will explode, turning the side of my case into shrapnel which tears my brain into mincemeat. Got a half-chub thinking of that desu.

Just don't update the firmware. It bricked a couple of 850pros

I'm afraid the Samsung earbuds I'm using will explode too.

I have a fucking samsung fridge

I'm scared, is it gonna be the next thing to blow up

I exclusively use Samsung SSDs in all of my laptops and desktops and have not once had one exp

>half-chub

fucking lost it

I rarely update firmware. Unless it fixes a big problem, I don't bother.

>people are legitimately more scared about Samsung products than ISIS terrorists

This might be amusing to some of you.

Recently Samsung discovered something odd about their M.2. drives.

As many of you know the drives are fast but because of heat the tend to thermally throttle. Speed increases as heat goes down and vice versa.

Now you can imagine this Samsung engineer looking at this small M.2. and looking at it and seeing this long sticker that covers it. Now the madman he actually does it! He removes the sticker. But no he doesn't test it. He goes straight to his boss and tells them about removing the sticker. The boss says how about a copper foil sticker. 3 months later the get this new sticker. They test it and it actually is holding 30% less heat! All because of the sticker.

Moral of the story:
Remove your m.2 sticker.

Don't do this it violates your mustard gas warranty.

Kek

Yes

I don't understand.
What is there to explode in a washing machine?
The worst that could happen is the drivetrain could go supersonic and shred your clothes.

i have a Samsung laser printer do you guys think it will explode?

yes

with no survivors

Do you into hellraiser and event horizon?

And once again Sammy is in there buying off the affected owners before the authorities find out what's going on. They confiscate the appliances so there's nothing to investigate.
Just as they did with the firey phones.

Guys I bought a 850 evo last week is it going to explode?

Make sure you point it towards Mecca and you're fine.

getting rid of my tv right now

looks like it already did

>mfw I have Samsung monitors

Can't get more just than that.

>have an unused Samsung monitor

How to deal with my radicalized Samsung product? Not even my brother wants it.

As I recall Samsung has a military division. Did some madman mix up the bomb factory and the electronics factory?

Its like you dont want to leave your washing machine to your grandkids

This isn't an exploding washing machine, this is people are to fucking stupid to load balance and the washing machine is powerful.

I see no need to recall or anything because some people are so fucking stupid they can't use a washing machine correctly.

I really need to get a steaming pot.

it could considering it could have a Samsung battery

Now which ssd should i get?

New washing machines have huge batteries so they keep working if the power goes out so your clothes don't just sit their and get gross.

i don't want to as the sticker looks snazzy

though it's partially covered with the ram heatsink I've got on it

wow

how livid would you be if your balcony was covered in a samshit ad

I'd be more livid than about the explosion/fire

>select all images with billboards

>one of the interns was simply sending an sms to a colleague when his test stage phone suddenly

>tears my brain into mincemeat

Nothing of value lost. Probably

Welp. Time to take the ram out of my thinkpad...

Oh boy, hope my samsung microsd is not gonna explode too.

>tfw have a samsung microwave

I have a Samsung Note 10.1. Should I be worried?

>my mum has a samsung phone

MUM NOOOOOOOOOOO

Yes. But no.

I bought a Samsung monitor -- horrible tearing issues.

I bought a Samsung phone -- screen smashed from 3ft drop onto carpet, then the battery popped out and exploded

Don't buy anything from Samsung Ordnance Ltd.

The only time samsung will make a product which doesn't explode is when they make grenades

i only use samsung products.

all working perfectly fine bruh :)

I was so excited for the Note 7 I bought a case before launch.very glad a good deal on the Z5 Premium kept my house intact, holy shit.

>waits for samsung edit

I have the 2014 version
Everything just werks

The chance to die from an exploding Samsung device is higher than do die in a terrorist attack.

Well you are more likely to get killed by a samsung device than a terrorist.

For once this fear is completely justified.

You're also more like to die in a car crash than by a terrorist. Something like 12 9/11s happen every year on america's roads and people are more scared of terrorists than cars.
Go figure.

I got a Samsung Note 8.0, an S5 and a Samsung refrigerator

Should I be careful

Get a flak jacket just to be safe.
I don't recommend a samsung flak jacket.

>using Samsung for anything

...

So at some point in all of this, will Samsung learn that "heat+lithium cells=explosion" and they will invest in installing proper heat dispersion in their products or are they just going to sell their company to ISIS?

>spending one gazillion shekels in a epik gaymer gpu
>not spending 20 bucks in a half decent cpu cooler

SAMSUNG HAS BEEN OVERTAKEN BY ISIS FORM THE INSIDE! Wake up Sheeple!

Hey I own a Samsung washing machine if I stand next to it while its washing can will I die if it explodes or will I just be damaged a little enough for me to sue?

>tfw drive a Samsung car

Fucking love soup dumplings

Samsung = explosions

>ever having fallen for the Korean meme
TOP, TOP KEK

It was a meme, a fucking bubble. Korean shit shit was always built with flaws, and then when they got really big-headed decided they could charge Japanese prices for it. Meanwhile Japanese stuff has always been solid, sturdy, built to last, sensible, no gimmicks. Not cheap, but you know exactly what you're getting and can rely on its quality. That 'Coreans' ever thought they were on the same level as Japs is laughable.

German shit is a meme too. Fancy, shiny at the cost of terrible reliability. Only chumps fall for this shit.

Expect Hyundais and Kias to start malfunctioning on a massive scale in 2017.

How is samsung supposed to recover from something like this? I mean I had no issue with them before but this is severe. They're going to lose billions over these recent stories. And I mean these 2 products are completely unrelated which is even more alarming.

you have to share all your personal information on your ssd to samsung if you want to update your firmware now anyway.

>swedish

???

I wonder how the name "Death Note" hasn't caught on to refer to the exploding Notes.

damn son

>overclocking your cpu
>wasting money on a ''k'' variant

why? so you can render your cpu instable, and run a 120 degrees hot CPU so you can have 182 FPS instead of 180 fps in games?

you were asking for it.

Ericsson

I never had dumplings before this spring when I visited the US for the first time. They weren't even that good.

I don't get what's the big deal with them? Steamed ones tasted chewy and like three times overcooked pasta. Deep fried one were naturally better but the insides were smushy and generic without any flavor.

And all this was in city's best dumpling place.

>heat up the chip and the silicon is fixed
wat
wat

it is the soldering points between the chip and the board that cracked, by heating you just tried on lotto to see if they get rejointed.

that's a pretty fucking funny picture

>ferocious vibrations
>interior wall

"In rare cases, affected units may experience abnormal vibrations that could pose a risk of personal injury or property damage when washing bedding, bulky, or water-resistant items," Samsung said in a statement.

The warning was released on Thursday—more than a month after the filing of a federal class-action lawsuit by customers claiming their machines exploded during use.

A washer "exploded with such ferocity that it penetrated the interior wall" of a Texas woman's garage, the suit says. A Georgia woman said it felt and sounded as if "a bomb went off."

Its not exploding its just fucking what happens when the drum comes undone from the wall and starts banging shit around. I was hoping it exploded that way I could throw in some bedding turn it on high sit next to it and get hit hard than sue.

>using the smiley with a carat nose

Then what is going on at the military division then?

Years ago, the Army bought about 7,000 Samsung Note 2s to be used as the chest mounted display for the Nett Warrior system.

The Notes were wiped (so no bloatware as some have speculated) and the NSA-derived Knox security kernel was installed.

Besides having the only approved secure OS at the time, the Note also of course had a large screen. The iOS flagship at the time was the iPhone 5 with a smaller 4" display. Now they intend to buy the newer and larger screen iPhone 6s.

The Android or iOS app has to communicate with the soldier's radio over USB. No cellular, WiFi or Bluetooth allowed. I believe using the USB port on iOS requires getting an Apple MFI license.

The military applications are developed in house by the Army, and at an Air Force Research Lab.

Late as shit but thanks for the laugh user

>land warrior eventually degenerated into a "program" where you give the soldiers an off-the-shelf android tablet and tell them to plug it into their existing radio so they can call in their 5 kill streak airstrike by swiping instead of yelling

It's sickening sometimes to see how too big to fail entities try to justify their continued existence.

Dim Sum is a meme
It tastes of nothing
Tastes of steamed water with a chewy pasta texture
That's it

Fucking cucks think they're sooooooooooo cultural by 'going for dim sum'
Just fucking kill them

this is why i cant bring myself to drive

Yeah but you're in control for the most part while driving. There's obviously scenarios where you can't do shit but a lot of vehicular deaths can be prevented.

Either retarded or b8

I don't think I have ever updated the firmware of anything, do I miss out on something?

what did they mean by that

>Jet engines can safely contain a failure
>Washing machines can't

youtube.com/watch?v=wVDVBl0IhgY

this is a true thign .i got a samsung basic CDMA phone coz the firm i work dont allow smartphone, it got replaceable battery , one day its case wontfit and come out . i saw its battery has bulged twie is size like a baloon . all my collegues warned me to switch off phone and change battery ASAP .

well I would risk that if it had a li-ion battery.

all current brushes have ni-mh batteries.
> they take very long to charge (up to 20h)
> they have memory effect
> they lose power as you use them

they fucking suck!

he's saying your cable management is bad. hah, even Cred Forums has jokes.

The 2014 version is godsend.

Muh nigga!

I don't know what Samsung is doing.
They should refresh their tablets more often, and pump them up. They are always behind.
And what the fuck did they do with the Tab S?

> release an awesome tablet with big battery
> release a new version called S2
> it's got a minor upgrades
> but it also has 2/3 of the battery

WHAT.THE.FUCK?

Yes.
BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes - all designed to break down. I mean from one point it's a great achievement, they design the cars to break at given points and they succeed, that's some real good engineering.

But this results in a product that's just a pile of shit.

We don't even have proper Japanese phones though.

well a new washing machine is literally a ticking bomb.

most of them lasts around 1 years and they break down 100%. 2 years? consider yourself fucking lucky.

Miele was a very nice brand, German.
Their older machines still run. They are not that old, they are digital, but not the latest.
They were not cheap, but they outlast you.

But even that brand went to shit.
So now it's expensive AND it breaks down.

Well they have some quality brands such as Sennheiser.
And maybe not the new ones, but those older 70-80's diesel Mercedes often run on forever.

Yeah I know, I think most companies put this "design them to break" ideology in motion in the 90s or so.

And it started bearing fruit in the 2006 or so.
For example, all Common Rail diesel cars are fucked. It was designed to better diesel engines, but car companies overengineered them, adding so many points of failure.

- There are two companies (Bosch and some other one) ruling the market of this "engine control" part of the car.
- The high pressure pump, the EGR valve, the dual-mass flyweight and so on, these will fuck up before or at 50-60k miles.
- The injectors will also mess up, they have to be diagnosed - it is a very costly process - they can get stuck in the engine too.
- Due to the high pressure and so many failure point, any modern diesel engine can just blow up.

The engine specialist we used for our fleet showed us blown up new engines.

AND ON TOP OF THIS, you now have DPF.

Mercedes-Benz went to shit right as Daimler merged with Chrysler in the 90's. Rather than Chrysler learning how to overbuild solid cars like Mercedes did, Daimler instead decided to move to building cheap shit that breaks to coast on the brand recognition thanks to Chrysler's influence..

And DPF is just double fucked.
1) If you don't do high speed / highway driving, it will clog up. That's like 80-90% of the drivers here.
2) If it clogs up, there is a chance you can not regenerate it (fix it using the car itself to clean the filter by itself).
3) If it's fucked you have to replace the entire DPF assembly in the exhaust. That will cost you.

So one big fat heads up.
Do Not Buy A Diesel.
Just don't.

Maybe in 10 years they will realize they killed a fuel type, and start unfucking their cars, I don't know. But right now, they are all just DOA.

And one of my relative works at Audi, they are working on engines, and that's their job, literally to make the walls of the engine as thin as possible. To make things break after X time.
The specialist guy also had a customer with him when we were there, he worked at Audi too, they had to move some parts to another place in the car, because said part lasted too long.

Tab s 10.5 is godly. The new tab s is shit. Mainly the fucking smaller 4:3 screen ruins it.

>Samsung designs a bomb
>It doesn't explode

And yes we have Diesel fleet, because in Europe.. (oh Europe we love you so much)

1) You have weak ass engines. 2.2L is top at new vans. Mercedes have a 3.2L BlueTec, but it dies around ~40k miles. Now that's not much from a van. The repair costs, since it's a Mercedes, are through the roof.
2) We have no Petrol options. I don't know why. US Ford vans have a 3.2L EcoBoost engine, we don't.

So basically if you want ANY power from your work van/car, which is you know, handy if you move shit, then you have to pick a Diesel.

Even our smaller van ... it has a 1.6L Diesel engine AND a 1.0L Petrol. It's a big joke, really.

heh.

I'm drive only turbo charged diesel engines all the way imo, the engines are much more solid, for that torque

Back on discussion, the analogy with Chrysler-Daimler and generally cost-cutting for profit combined with planned obsolescence....

Samsung is such a huge company on many levels that I doubt that it had anything to do with any voluntary or involuntary crippling... I'd say it's a structural failure in one segment, in terms of various risk elements in their products and sustainable growth

They just overheated and they're getting corrected, I don't see any indication that they cheated in any way, in comparison to many companies and ethical lawsuits in our day and age (libor rigging, wells fargo scandal, 2008 crisis, VW diesel emissions, list goes on)

Yeah I meant that.
How can they fuck up so much?

The 10.5 was a great improvement.
All they had to do is:
- refresh the chip
- add quick charging
- up the ram (4gb is min)
- add flash to camera
- add camera modules from S7 or whatever current S

But no, they didn't fix anything but made it worse. There is the "VE" version now too, which is a "new new S2", that comes with a snapdildo 617 (!).

WHY.

And get this.
Sammy is one manufacturer, right?
Sony, LG, HTC all had tablets.
But they don't step up.

Sony? They always had shit tablets. Never even tried to make good ones. Heck, there was the Z Ultra. They killed it.

LG? Good tablets, but mediocre specs.
HTC? They made the Nexus 9, but never made good tablets.

But why?
If one company would decide to make a proper tablet, people would buy it.
Even Nvidia with the shield, it's a tiny fart tablet, who wants to use a pen on that? Goddamnit.
I would buy it for sure.

Who are you explaining that to?

We have several new fiat doblo vans at work. Biggest pieces of shit I have ever driven. They go to garage every month or so because of that regeneration shit.

...

> Samsung is ISIS confirmed

I have a Samsung TV in my living room. Is it gonna explode?

You'd be surprised.

The last image before he slipped the surly bonds of earth and the restaurant with him.

RIP.

>Buy Samsung anything
>It explodes

That kind of makes the arguement stronger desu.
Like for instance i got in a pretty bad car accident when some dude swerved into my lane and stopped on the freeway.
I was doing 140km/h.
It cou have been prevented if I was doing speed limit, but most people's attitudes, mine included is like, aww well shit happens, and we carry on driving like that.
Meanwhile, there are idiots frantically trying to prevent terrorism, by closing borders and banning guns, even though we both know there is nothing you can really do.

What the fuck?
Manage your cables

when will sasung gonna make graphics cards? nvidia isnt hot enough for me anymore.

What the fuck are you talking about?

Do you even know how many terrorist attacks are prevented?

Just because we have some terrorist attacks doesn''t mean that all attacks are successful and not prevented, you fucking retard.

samsung buying out AMD when

my samsung monitor just exploded. not even joking. in their defense, it was 9 years old.
