Let's say you need new laptop that will be used for occasional gaming and you have a budget of around $1300. Do you:
1. Buy whatever overheating Dell/Lenovo/Sager offers the best stats and dedicated GPU. (Cred Forums hates this).
2. Buy Thinkpad/Latitude/Elitebook and a sweet external GPU setup.
3. Buy a semi-decent laptop and a respectable PC and use Steam In-Home Streaming.

I have the Asus ROG G750jz and so far it has been able to run everything on ultra/high well enough. Also the cooling on this thing is god tier, Asus has really nailed that part in their laptops.
You can get the GTX 1060 in a laptop for around 1400$ and it's 2x more powerful than this thing that I have.
It should be plenty enough for any kind of gaming, especially on 1080p
