On Cred Forums, I am just an user. Only my opinions matter instead of my online popularity, whatever actions are associated with a particular pseudonym or even my real name. I go on Cred Forums to argue about stuff and this is exactly why you're completely wrong about the "echo chamber" argument. Cred Forums is as far away from being an "echo chamber" as can be, since people are not afraid to argue and state their own opinions, whereas on Reddit you have to cater to the lowest common denominator to gather as many upvotes as possible, which is completely counterproductive to any discussion.

Sure, you have tons of people telling you to go kill yourself just because you don't share his opinion, but that's what you get when you get pure and unadulterated discussion instead of constantly being careful not to "offend" the other person and keeping it "civil".

So you left Cred Forums for good? Nice for you. But don't expect other people to follow suit.
