seamonkey

Firefox on Linux
Pale meme / seamonkey or opera (chromium based) / iridium on Windows

>Edge
Why would I download and install something else?

>Firefox on Linux
It's shit no matter what OS it's on.

It's not unless you're using an 8 year old potato PC

Had it on W10 and Debian, on both it ran slow and unresponsive at times.

Installed Seamonkey a few weeks ago. Have not looked back.

vivaldi

This

Opera 12.16 is the GOAT browser, SeaMonkey's the best that still receives updates.

>>>/global/rules/11

I have installed Firefox and Seamonkey on my Linux machine, convince me to do the full transition to Seamonkey.

qutebrowser

SeaMonkey's like Firefox but with more features and lower memory consumption. You've got it installed already, just use it and find out why people keep recommending it.

Thanks, im going to test it as my main browser for few days and see what happens....

Also, do you guys recomend using this github.com/pyllyukko/user.js for firefox/palemoon/seamonkey? Or just with Ublock Origin i can have enough privacy?

What does Cred Forums think of Brave? Apparently made by FF's former CEO.

it ill be my ff replacement
I stopped using ff when they sacked and switched to chrome
if Brave gets addon/extension support, I am going all in on it.

Just use chrome, senpai

More or less the same for me; add-ons will make or break it since right now it's quite bare-bones (not that that's a bad thing).

I'd rather SJWFox over BotnetChrome anyday.

> Pass user since 2013
What is the new Moot doing to this site?

I try fagfox every now and then again. Got 64bit Dev Edition installed, with e10s set up to 16 processes, no addons except ublocko installed... yet it's miles slower than chrome, so it'll stay my secondary browser until they fix that shit

Chromium
>Chrome
>No spying
What more could you ask for?

do i get paid in bitcoin for using brave or something? some1 clear this up

also the UI is outdated?

But no MP4 playback

They aren't advertising, kill yourself.

Vivaldi is the best browser, Opera is hot garbage.

F U C K

bump this question for interest.

...

Nobody would willingly use that pile of trash. Everyone that's ever suggested Vivaldi is either a troll or a shill.

Go ahead an logically explain to me why you think that is so.

Nobody in their right mind would use a Chromium web app as a browser.

You didn't logically explain to me. Answer the question, are you incompetent, or are you hypocritical troll?

>lol ur wrong xDDD
I see you're one of the trolls.

>Tell me why it's bad.
>ITS BAD, NOBODY WOULD USE IT
>Okay, answer the question
>YOUR WRONG! ITS JUST BAD! NOBODY WOULD USE IT
I come from a lesser board, and it's incredible how childish you are when it comes to discussion. Keep calling people trolls and shills like a fucking moron in place of an actual reason. If you have a reason, I'll be waiting to discuss that with you.

I gave you a fucking reason you goddamned mongoloid. See Vivaldi is essentially a fullscreened website in Chromium that you use to browse other websites. Nobody that had even half their brain cells would willingly use such an atrocity.

Why would you trust Brave with your browsing data, but not Google? Both use "anonymized" data to target ads.

>Vivaldi is essentially a fullscreened website in Chromium that you use to browse other websites
No. That barely makes sense. Vivaldi is more like an upgraded Opera which utilizes most of the features that Opera went and removed, making Opera shit and Vivaldi a better option. Sure, it may use Chromium as a basis for it's operations, but it's not even the same. Plus, how the fuck does that even make sense? You're literally not even explaining anything to me. You just say retarded bullshit and then call me a name. How old are you?

>No. That barely makes sense
Confirmed for being clueless
>Vivaldi is more like an upgraded Opera which utilizes most of the features that Opera went and removed, making Opera shit and Vivaldi a better option
My fucking sides!
>Sure, it may use Chromium as a basis for it's operations, but it's not even the same.
It uses a Node.JS (JavaScript) UI which it uses Chromium to render. Vivaldi's UI is again, a fucking website.
>You're literally not even explaining anything to me.
I explained it to you, then you without having any fucking clue what you're talking about started blindly defending it. I'm leaning towards the shill side of things now. Regardless of whether you're a troll or a shill, eat a dick.

I understand the interface is just a blank html sheet, and they use JS and CSS to handle everything else. So how is that bad instead of just saying "BUT ITS A WEBSITE" meme.

And it is far better than Opera.

>So how is that bad
JavaScript is for websites
>instead of just saying "BUT ITS A WEBSITE" meme
>I can't handle the truth, better call it a meme
Jesus Christ user, face it. Your browser is shit.
>it is far better than Opera
Just to clarify, we're talking about Opera, not Chropera, right? I mean either way it's a laughable statement but to say anything, especially your cancerous "browser" is better than Opera is quite possibly one of the most retarded things you could possibly say.

Is SeaMonkey open source?

Yes

I'm sure you guys will laugh at me but would SeaMonkey be a better choice on Mac than Safari? Also does it run ublock?

Yes and yes

browzar
deletes its history/cache/cookies/younameit on exit
no js, (noscript not necessary)

is the email part of seamonkey worth using?

I feel like every week on Cred Forums I see a new browser that I've never heard of until now

but Chrome Beta
>I have nothing to hide

Another Macfag here, I suppose I'll give Seamonkey a shot and see how it goes.

ungoogled chromium
github.com/Eloston/ungoogled-chromium

Probably Firefox, because I'm a yiffy individual who likes furry porn browsers.
