Os on 5400rpm hdd
other stuff like soft and games on 1tb ssd

Did they fix the overheating problem?
Literally all they need to do is make a sticker out of aluminum or copper and put it on like in the picture.

By the way do mSATA SSDs throttle? With the 950 Pro throttling means you still get 1GB/s sequential read speed which is still far more than via SATA. I've seen a video where one guy transfers a 200GB file and the unthrottled SSD literally goes above 100°C.

1. Yes
2. mSATA Intel
3. Maybe
I mean I never tried fitting anything there but it seems small enough. I've had shit thicker than msata width.

1. SSD
2. 500GB Jewsung 850 EVO
3. No

SSD
250GB Samsung 850 EVO
If I took the external casing off of it and left just the PCB, probably

Why do you use more thought than necessary to make possible the scenario of shoving things up your butt? Are you gay?

It's not gay if the ball grid arrays don't touch.

What is sdd and hdd?

If you stretch your anus for several years you can easily hold a 3.5" HDD without any modifications.

>SDD
soft dual dick
>HDD
hard dual dick

They fixed it in the 960 PRO, by using the sticker as a heat spreader

>By the way do mSATA SSDs throttle?

No, SATA speeds don't generate enough heat

>Yes
>950 PRO 250G
>Absolutely

>They fixed it in the 960 PRO
Well, they lessened it.

I guess it'd be better to use a tiny heatsink instead if you're hitting the thermal throttle often.

>Os on 5400rpm hdd
Disgusting

>he doesn't run his OS on a ramdisk

>Os on 5400rpm hdd
Are you litteralement retarded?

>SSDs
>250GB 850 EVO and a 120GB Sandisk something

1. Yes.
2. The one in your picture.
3. Shouldn't be a problem.

M.2 NVME SSD

WOW, OP is a dumbass
Farewell OP

Yes
840 Evo
Will try and post results

Os is on 5400 2tb HDD

+1 respect

Windows installed on 240GB Kingston Predator PCIE (not joined NVMe Master race yet)

Games/Steam Library on a RAID 0 of two 480GB Kingston V300's

Videos, software and pirate game ISO's and installers on a 2TB WD Black

Boot Drive is good for about 1400 read and 1000 write

SSD RAID is good for 1000 read and write

2TB is HDD....

1
no because poorfag
2
some shitty toshiba that came with the lappy
WD Black on desktop
3
Not only OS ones but also all the hdds from my NAS :^)

Pics or it didn't happen

Closer to SSD
Flash drive
Yes

(It's Tails)

You have those reversed, user

Dont forget swap and paging files and shit goes to the ssd too!

Turn off swap. If you run out of memory, buy more RAM. RAM is cheap now...

HDD
2.5" Toshiba 750gb one I swiped from my old laptop
Probably

I want to move my OS to my SSD but I can't figure out how to do it without paying for some stupid software

No, get rid of your ram and just use your ssd. ssds are faster than ram now, so buy as little ram as possible and just run everything through your ssd.

>1. Is your primary OS installed on an SSD or an HDD?
SSD

>2. Which HDD or SSD?
Samsung 850 Evo

>3. Can you fit it in your butt?
If you mean like, clenched between butt cheeks, yes. I assume you mean rectally though; I've never tried and doubt I will, so I can only speculate, but probably only with remarkable pain and tearing.

All you need to do is stick a chipset sink on it if you are going to move 250gb of data at max speed

Normally it will never reach that load level.

>not using the 960pro picture instead,

jesus christ you poorfags pretending to be rich are the wurzt

I just want the fucking 960 series to be released already. my xps15 has a 32gB m.2 for windows that is so small you cannot easily update the os or drivers and is the biggest pain in the ass.

ssd
evo 850
haven't tried

>1. Is your primary OS installed on an SSD or an HDD?
Yes. Samsung SM951 or something.
>3. Can you fit it in your butt?
The whole AIB? No. I could probably fit the SM951 itself in my butt, though.

Yes, msata SSD.
I dunno, its a samsung oem one, its ok. Decent speeds.
Of course.

>Os on 5400rpm hdd
Same here. Although I use a 1TB 7200rpm HDD for backups.

ssd
crucial m550 msata
i suppose it could fit in my butt

I've migrated everything to SSD and thrown away my HDD.

We will probably hit price parity next year its finally time to stop using HDD.

This will be reality by next year if Intel delivers with their new Xpoint shit

1. Yes
2. Samsung EVO 512 GB
3. Yes, why?

Primary and secondary OS are both installed on an 850 evo.

Probably.
