How would the Internet change if she were to be elected president? Lots of tech companies such as Google and Facebook support her financially, so she can't be too bad.....

>Cred Forums - USA Politics

Such is life comrade

Better outcome than if Dozy "More surveillance and less internet freedom" Donald Drumpf is elected.

I would redirect all the non Gentoo user agents to the nice proprietary software faggot pic

Clinton literally said she wanted a 'Manhattan-like project' to break all encryption everywhere.
Everyone in government wants more power over people.

Gentoo is not FSF endorsed.

>giving corporations the right to dictate online policy is a good thing

When net neutrality is a distant memory, we'll have retards like you to thank for it

By the end of a Drumpf 1st term, only the 1% will be able to afford internet. Everybody else will be in the bread line all day.
>trickle down and deregulation. yippee.

>this is the intelligence of the average HRC voter

Whoa man, bread lines and the 1%, really makes you think....

Hillary Clinton is the baby boomer mentality pushed into a candidate

She doesn't understand the Internet, she'll just do what her corporate sponsors tell her to

You think Google got rich by giving away millions and expecting nothing in return?

what a correction to the recording

He said drumpf!

How will Donald ever recover?!

>Lots of tech companies such as Google and Facebook support her financially,
she has promises to keep

This is actually a real possibility
>NYSE:DB
This will be the keystone that fails.

Whoever is elected will get the blame, and it wont be their fault.

>people on /qa/ constantly complaining about Cred Forums leaking even though it's supposed to be a containment board
>Cred Forumsfags actually trying to deny it

Fuck I hate that board so much

Dont blame Cred Forums for CTR shills, Cred Forums is right wing.

Predicts future.
Get accused of correcting record.
>average intelligence of typical drumpftard.
btw Every time Drumpf opens his idiot mouth, the record NEEDS correcting.

>(((Google)) and (((Facebook))) support her so she can't be bad

Step up your bait

No, you're kind of a delusional idiot if you think that the US president has the power to lead the nation to poverty or prosperity single handedly.

Congress sets 80% of US policy and the judicial branch sets most of the rest. The president has very little control over citizens day to day lives. They aren't fucking emperors.

You are a special kind of dumb if you think everyday life will change under either of these glorified figureheads

>predicts future

You can't even type in coherent sentences Mohamed

Nice try though

Typical shrill behavior by the type of people that refuse to call Bruce Jenner by her new name Caitlyn.

>Star Trek has always offered a positive vision of the future, a vision of hope and optimism, and most importantly, a vision of inclusion, where people of all races are accorded equal respect and dignity, where individual beliefs and lifestyles are respected so long as they pose no threat to others. We cannot turn our backs on what is happening in the upcoming election. Never has there been a presidential candidate who stands in such complete opposition to the ideals of the Star Trek universe as Donald Trump. His election would take this country backward, perhaps disastrously. We need to elect a president who will move this country forward into the kind of future we all dream of: where personal differences are understood and accepted, where science overrules superstition, where people work together instead of against each other.

THANK YOU BASED TREK

That's retarded. It's impossible to go back to the point where no one can afford to use the internet with infrastructure now days. People with money would still be able to buy higher bandwidth links, divide up the bandwidth, and sell you lower bandwidth links. A 30 Mb connection now days could be divided into ~500 56k connections, and USENET, IRC, and GOPHER were used on lower bandwidth connections than that. The internet wouldn't be out of reach of people who actually cared even if you needed an amateur radio license due to a good portion of the links being implemented over packet radio. I'm convinced that even if some catastrophic collapse of society happened like in Mad Max the internet would still continue to run, though maybe not in the exact same way as most people think of it today.

god, Roddenberry must be rolling in his grave.

he preferred subtlety. not outright supporting a candidate

Is that Britney Spears? Damn! She looks fucking ugly now!

>she
supports the Republicans actually

Trump is AGAINST net neutrality. I know this I am not even American and this is fundemental republican policy. The cognitive dissonance of you centipedefags is amazing.

>arstechnica
>le geek culture

Highly logical my fellow Trekkie XD

Thank god you're not American if you trust the candidate paid off by tech corporations to protect your interests

HRC voter doublethink is unreal

Ive often wondered what it'd be like to spend a week in the fantasy world of a numale

It's funny because that article is in support of the same candidate ho has bombed multiple middle eastern countries and is antagonizing Russia.

But hey as long as no one makes fun of Muslims at Walmart in the USA who gives a fuck about the rest of the world?

Americunts are selfish

>president has no power or influence.
And yet the Bush tax cuts are still known as the Bush tax cuts.
Which the CBO revealed in 2006 caused as much debt as TARP or both unfunded Bush admin wars combined.
So the way to make Amerifat grape again is more trickle down and deregulation.
If tax cuts for billionaires doesn't do any good, what makes you think Drumpf's corporate tax cuts will.
Because they sure as fuck didn't do any good in Chile, Greece, or Canada.

>Get shot in the face by Anders Breivik
>Get turned into a fedora atheist Reddit maymay

She can't even walk down stairs, I'm not voting for her.

Republicans support freedom and deregulation. You are just confusing the two.

>corporate tax cuts

The US has the highest corporate tax rate sin the world. It's the reason so many of our native companies are fleeing to low tax nations like Ireland.

You're connecting two concepts -trickle down and keeping companies here that aren't connected at all, but judging from your illeterate posting style I'm not surprised.

>deregulation in Chile

It saved the nation and gave them one of the most powerful economies in South Anerica

I can't wait till Trump wins :)

shift.newco.co/an-open-letter-from-technology-sector-leaders-on-donald-trumps-candidacy-for-president-5bf734c159e4#.uh5ucjw3v

Canada now has the lowest corporate tax rate in the G20. Yet is no more a mecca of industry than it was before Harper added 120 billion to the debt.
The "Chicago Boys" are what created disaster in Chile, not what fixed it.

I don't click shady links like that sorry.

Nope, Pinochet saved Chile and boosted its economy

Poor leftists try to rewrite history because he picked on them though lol

>image.jpg
>picture of a sociopath who pulled a Robert Kardashian to get a shitload of evidence taken out of court in defense of a child rapist who admitted to her he was guilty and laughed about it later in an interview giving a fake smile and thumbs up
>Lots of tech companies such as Google and Facebook support her financially, so she can't be too bad.....
Nuke this entire fucking board. It's all contaminated.

Wait, I thought liberals said corporations and the politicians they support shouldn't be trusted

When did this change again?

>Canada now has the lowest corporate tax rate in the G20.
And yet the costs of running a business thanks to regulations is still fucking high. Throw in the carbon tax bullshit and the recession sinks even deeper.

Wait are you telling me that there is more than one aspect to the situation and a dishonest poster might leave out such information to prove their point?

It didn't change.
Hillary is the one that makes speeches on Walstreet and was busy yucking it up instead of campaigning.

>

Yet they say Trump will be the corporate shill when she is paid off by them

>a dishonest poster might leave out such information to prove their point?
That's pretty much the standard conservative arguing strategy.

>liberals said corporations and the politicians they support shouldn't be trusted
The moment one of the corrupt businessmen decided to cut out the middle-man and run for President himself.

>ignoring that most of Chile's growth and those big shiny buildings in the picture were all built after Pinochet left power.

>Poor leftists try to rewrite history because he picked on them though lol
They should know that rewriting history is the job of neocons afterall. Afterall, we're to the point that conservatives are basically saying that everything evil in the world is liberalism's fault, and that the political right aren't responsible for fascism or anything else.

More of the same.

-Continued spying
-Net Neutrality
-in general more supportive the the tech industry

Or you can vote trump who knows a lot about Cyber and wants to end net neutrality and censor the internet.

Freedom for corporations to fuck everyone in the ass.

Also, the freedom to destroy the environment and the freedom from anti-trust lawsuits.

So the gist of both of these posts is "nu uh- you do that"

Have leftists ever come up with an original thought?

>the deficits are bad mememememe

Good vote for the corporate puppet then

>Freedom for corporations to fuck everyone in the ass.
Yeah, like giving away the root DNS control to a corporation?
Obama and Hilary support that, Trump doesn't.

Really makes you think.
