Why does Cred Forums hate notepad++?

Why does Cred Forums hate notepad++?

It's windows software.

It's fine if you're on Windows, I used it for almost 10 years.

I don't really think Cred Forums does hate notepad++

I don't think Cred Forums as a whole uses it very often but I also don't think it hates it. Sort of unusual for us to not like something but also not hate it :)

I use it proudly.

This. Plenty of people on here that use Linux so not many are going to be using Notepad++ that often.

botnet

Sublime Text is better in every way, except 'licensing' cost. But I haven't bought it so whatever.

I like it (:

Geany in Linux is a really good.

Sublime Text is hipster garbage and there's no source available

How? Explain or gtfo

g8 b8 m8

>implying demanding the source code isn't the most hipster thing of all

its bait dude

he's just using a buzzword

how is wanting a copy of source hipster? it's plenty reasonable to know what you are running

Because it doesnt make you look like a hacker.

It's a new meme that hipsters use to sound cool and unique. No normal person gives a shit about the source.

>"Yeah I was gonna run this software, but I couldn't see the source code so I didn't even bother trying it. Only losers used closed source." *takes a sip from vegan frappachino*

How can someone so retarded be posting on Cred Forums?

>Explain or gtfo
I think I'll do neither actually

it's just more bait. this OPs question has already been answered and its time for this thread to die

Because Vim exists
