>Mother (49 years woman) was offered money in the street to do pornography

This has to fucking stop.
My country is not a fucking porn set. Why can't people learn this?
Here is what happens: My mother is walking home with grocery shopping. She is approached by some Russian guys. They tell her, they will give her money if she puts the diet soda cans into her vagina on camera. She tells them no, I bought these for my son. They offer her more money, to do the same, but to say on camera she will give me the cans when she is done ans I will drink from them without knowing. She refuses. The Russians follow her down the street to try and convince her, until she yells at them to leave. They smash her bags onto the floor and one of my soda is smashed so now I have only 5.

This is disgusting animal shit. And why? Because you all believe that Czech girls are fucking porn stars, who will do anything for money. Well, it isn't true. These videos are FICTION. They are not true. These women are acting. They are not women from the street and will not have sex because money was offered.

Our women are not whores. They are women of dignity. So, fuck off. Maybe you can find some whores in your countries. But stop doing it here. It is a disaster for this country to be featured in porn. Nobody here will do it, so stop trying.

I made my point.

Your voice in this means nothing. You heard some word used before, wow, what an acomplishment. I heard some words too.
It all just makes you sound like an autistic angloboo cuck who somehow feels proud of knowing a foreing to you language better than someone else to whom this language is also foreign.

Enjoy your mutilated language knowledge when talking to people, what can I say.

Why are we strange? Raising your kids in cotton candy so to speak just hurts them, they become annoying adults who end up robbed and/or beaten and/or murdered because they thought the whole world is some warm hugging place instead of a dog-eat-dog competition.

Hej Słowianie, jeszcze nasza
Słowian mowa żyje,
Póki nasze wierne serce
Za nasz naród bije.

Żyje, żyje duch słowiański,

Bóg nasz gromowładny.
Nie śmie go nam tedy wyrwać
Na świecie człek żadny.

Ilu ludzi, tylu wrogów,
Możem mieć na świecie,
Bóg jest z nami, kto nam wrogiem,
Tego Piorun zmiecie!

I niechaj się ponad nami
Groźna burza wzniesie,
Skała pęka, dąb się łamie,
Ziemia niech się trzęsie.

Räikkönen is based

Yes I found that out today in polish general, also that poles made the wax figure moomin show

It means snus (google it, kind of a chewing tobacco) muikkunen (muikku is a type of fish, and -nen is something that is added on to last names so it becomes a last name) so essentially it would be Chewingtobaccofishman (doesn't really make sense does it?)

Most of our top athletes through out the years (including people who made world records in their fields) have been huge alcoholics and usually also gave very weird interviews when compared to other athletes. Matti Nykänen (ski jumping), Seppo Räty (javelin), Räikkönen (formula), Esa Tikkanen (hockey) etc. have all been very weird when compared to their collegues and most of all, they all are huge alcoholics.

I will do my best Finn bro

At least you haven't had any alcoholic presidents like we had.
Or have you?

forgot link, I'm really drunk now, writing gets messyt youtube.com/watch?v=lMiAWu2cQvE

Kekkonen? Dictator of Finland, who gave us the nickname Kekkoslovakia? The guy thanks to whom you guys didn't annex us during the cold war? He was good friends with all soviet rulers and could drink them all under the table. He made up the term "alcohol politics", which references our relation with you guys that continues even today. Whenever Finnish and Russian politicians or military officers get together there is a shit ton of vodka and sauna involved. No matter how our average bydlos feel towards each other, finnish and russian leaders are basically bros who drink and laugh together, which is why we will never go to war again unless things drastically change.

>real anthem of Poland

come on, don't sleep guys, post your 'anthems' or something

there's this polish/hungarian (can't remember which) song that I think was about fighting against the teutons, it was a choir type song that originated during the middle ages. I think it's a great fucking song and would do well for an anthem. If anybody can think of the song I'd appreciate it.

you mean this? youtube.com/watch?v=NrhHjoyaHdo

very beautiful and emotional

At the moment the rates between ski jumping platforms and ski jumpers in Finland is fucking insane. We have 1.5 platforms per jumper in Finland. We have more platforms than we have jumpers. It's insane. Finnish athletes seem to carry the torch of the olden days, when all athletes were cigarette smoking alcoholics who barely defeated the hangover of yesterday to compete in todays sporting event (Finland has once in it's history made it to semi finals of European Soccer Championship, and we lost it something like 11-0 to Holland because every single one of our athletes were hungover).

Such a nice thread, comfy hours
How old are you guys? Do you remember commie cartoons?
I am old enough to remember them pretty good. youtube.com/watch?v=QDDJLq2rs5Y

24 famalam. Not old enough to remember commies directly, but I'm the youngest of my brothers so my upbringing was king of like an "80s" kid one thanks to my brothers.

Yes, I thinks it's great that we still know it. A beautiful song with great emotion and history behind it. The Pole who introduced it to me 3 years ago probably isn't here, but thank you to who ever it was!

I was born in 1987, I remember just these cartoons.

youtube.com/watch?v=U0OKhL7qQcY
tbqh Hungarian version is prettier
by the way, how much in common Hungarian and Finnish languages have? Are they intelligible at all? Is there some shared vocabulary?

How about this guy? One of my favourite childhood cartoons

Krecik, this is a Czech cartoon, one of my favs too.
Do you have more old cartoons other than Moomins?

The very basic words of the language (fire, mother etc.) usually are pretty close to each other, and the grammar has some similarities, but other than that it's not really mutually intelligible at all (we seperated from Hungarian about 2-3 thousand years ago). It's enough so that learning Hungarian is piss easy compared to say Polish (for a Finn), but not enough to we could read their newspaper.

During 80s/90s most of our cartoons were either from Japan/Soviets (80s) or from USA's cartoon network (90s). Finland was still a poor country so our media wasn't that big and it was mostly about shows of 2-3-4 guys doing jokes with little to no money to put towards sets, costumes etc.

>My mom hates commie times, my dad (RIP) used to say that it wasn't that bad
Both of my parents hated commie times passionately, they had to run from ZOMO militia a bunch of times to not get a """path of health"""
Nice video tho, I like the attention to detail
Of course, Krecik along with Moomins and Maya the Bee were cult classics

It's kind of funny to think how much we shared as children growing up, even though we weren't behind the iron curtain at any point (just very close to it). Peace to your parents Polen.

>During 80s/90s most of our cartoons were either from Japan/Soviets (80s) or from USA's cartoon network (90s)
same here, we had just a few of our own productions
>tfw loved picrel, but can't get it on DVD anywhere

I remember when Cartoon Network showed up, it was in English, helped me a little in learning.

Do you remember Bolek i Lolek and Reksio? Those are Polish.

>Peace to your parents Polen.
kek they're still alive, I shouldn't have used past tense I suppose
>Reksio takes care of his wife's sons.jpg

That guy with the snout looks very familiar, what is his name?

I remember the left pic. It is oddly comfy sharing these childhood memories, almost as if talking to people who had the same childhood as me.

My childhood favorite

>they had to run from ZOMO militia a bunch of times to not get a """path of health"""
sorry to hear that, the worst thing that happened to my parents were the long lines in empty shops

These were very common during the 90s here. Finland was basically quasi-soviet in all but name (except for music influence), but once the soviets fell everything from television to commercials to food etc. became very western very fast.

It's comfy as fuck. I have all night.
Meh
Nu, pogodi was better version of Tom&Jerry
Just watch

Did you guys have Sega or Nintendo growing up in soviet union? My early childhood (which was basically the same as my brothers who were born in early 80s) was the cartoons we discussed + Sega Genesis/8 bit Nintendo games.

We played on this. I wonder what happened with mine.
Are you drinking/using something now guys?

>clone of NES
did it play the same games? Also, I am drinking beer with a few glasses of whiskey.

Oh, you saw it before? I thought it was never emitted outside of Poland
It's Omenter, the sneaky spy
He pretended to measure everything, but actually he was looking for children and if he found some he would later at night send totally-not-German spooky knights to kidnap the children and drag them to their castle. Pretty grim shit for a kids' show tbqh
youtube.com/watch?v=giA4nPiZyk8
He appears at 01:07

That was my favourite,
I'm drinking beer and snorting amphetamine.
Feels good, I don't have to work tomorrow.
I wonder if I will go to bed today.

The other characters don't look familiar, but Omenter looks very very familiar, something I've seen in my childhood. It seems that slav/finnish (= muumin) cartoons were very grim compared to western ones. I guess we wanted to teach our kids early on that life had a load of shit in it not just flowers, songs and hugs.

Ah yes, Contra. One of the hardest games on NES imo. And god damn you for mentioning amphetamines, I had no lust towards them but now that you mentioned them I could do with a few lines to keep me up all night talking about our childhoods (I used to be a speedfreak).

Russian cartoons were really fucked up
youtube.com/watch?v=kM0GkcBAQMI

Is it worth moving to a slav country with American salary and live like a king on cheap land?

Yeah, it seems the russian cartoon makers were more acquinted with LSD than their western counterparts.

Do you want to make friends and lead a good, normal life, or do you want to look down on people and act like an asshole? If it's the former, then yes, it is worth it. If not, don't fucking bother.

Whoops, sorry for that. I use very rarely. I won't mention it again, for sure any time soon.
Let's focus on drinking, na zdrowie
(cheers in Polish, what is the Finnish term?)

What the Finnish bro said also can you describe 'American salary', how much?

Kippis/pohjanmaan kautta/hölökyn kölökyn etc. (Kippis is the most common one). Na zdrowie sounds like the russian cheers, isn't it basically the same? (One guy in our friend group is half Russian, one is Polish, I can never remember which word is which).

100k, and I don't mean king as in look down at people (I'm slav too and know what it's like). I just want a nice house on cheap land and save money in a comfortable fashion.

>cartoons were very grim compared to western ones
That's because Moomins and that cartoon with Omenter (Film pod Strasznym Tytułem - A Movie with a Scary Title) were based on local fairy tales and mythologies. And fairy tales were always pretty fucked up, western ones too.
youtube.com/watch?v=2_GSYF5NSMQ

I'd say that about slavs in general
youtube.com/watch?v=l5K6z-Tzrzw

>fairy tales
now that touches a subject I'm also interested in. Russian folklore in particular I find interesting because it seems a 50-50 mix of old slavic traditions and finnic traditions. Almost any russian folklore I read, it is either an universal slavic folk tale, or it's taken from Finnic folklore. I think part of what makes Finns and our mentality so foreign compared to what neighbours usually feel towards each other is that superficially we are very scandinavian, while deep down our mental world, folk tales, music etc. is very similar to the slavic world, so we seem like an alien mix to both of you.

Judging by that clip, I'd say you were absolutely right

That's long.
Na zdrowie means for health, in many Slavic languages. Our is pronounced 'na zdrovye'. In Russian it's 'na zdorovye', in Czech 'na zdraví', in Slovak 'na zdravie', don't know much about South Slav languages, I understand maybe 30%.
We drink wódka with so called 'zakąska' (usually something pickled like cucumber or herring), how do you drink?
What are your roots? You can live a decent life, you are welcome here. It's safer than in the West.

Fuuug I remember this, trippy

vocaroo.com/i/s1XEjYQAsXvO this is how I'm used to saying it. Finns have a shitty drinking culture compared to slavs in the way that we usually have very little to eat while drinking, which leads to low blood sugar which leads to fighting (me and our half russkie friend always make sure our group of friends have some salty snacks like dried fish)

>vocaroo.com/i/s1XEjYQAsXvO
ebin :D very nice
Dried fish is ok too. Do you eat pickled stuff? We pickle more stuff apart from cucumbers and herring - paprika, mushrooms, plums, all goes well with wódka.
I guess this is only 'North' Slav thing, Southeners have their own customs, too bad they are asleep now so they cannot tell us.

Sup guys, here have some serbs.

I was born in Bosnia (not muslim) and moved here when still a baby. I know Bosnian but not as much as I used. I also agree that the west will become an utter shithole in the near future and that's why I want to escape this degeneracy and return. I'm worried that, whatever country I move to, will view as an invader and american trash.

It only gets better after that
I had a tape with a recording of this to listen to, these snorting noises always creeped the fuck outta me

meant to reply here

We eat pickled cucumbers a lot, but other than that pickling isn't common. Like I said our drinking foods culture is pure shit, but the most common things are salty peanuts. Only when we drink in the countryside do we combine eating with drinking, and then it's usually sausages (I was actually surprised a few years ago to find out that most of the sausages in Finland have polish origins)

We don't mind Americans, hell, many Poles are, lets say, not fond of Ukrainians because Bandera this Wołyń that but we tolerate them. There's plenty of then here and more are coming, many are normal people.
I'm not bydło and don't care much about this stuff but if you don't look like a total gypo and learn language (at least to the point where you can hold a conversation) you will have no problems.

the ost was pretty dank too
>that parade song at 37:05

We are huge exporters of sausages, wódka and apples.
Try to marinate herring, goes really good with stronger booze.

I think the colourscape also seperates "eastern" cartoons from western ones. Western cartoons had many sharp, bright colours (orange, yellow, red etc.), where as eastern (and finnish) ones had many drab, cold colours, like olive, brown, blue, black etc.

Everything seemed more... faint? I guess that's the word. I'm not talking about camera quality ofc.
It must be 4 in the morning in Finland, are you gonna sit here with us all night bro?

>now that touches a subject I'm also interested in.
Did you play the Widger? :-{DD Afaik it has plenty of slav folklore, even though it's a bit modernized and marketed towards the westers
t. didn't play it

True that
Dunno how much of it was a technical limitation and how much an actual artistic choice, but it's pretty dank regardless

Yes, yes I am (at least for another 1-2 hours until I pass out). Job situation in Finland is fucking horrible right now, something like 20-30% of the adult population is unemployed so I'm here pissing away loaned money and essentially crying myself to sleep in my small apartment.

Here you have Południca aka Noonwraith

I'm sorry to hear that, hold on Finn bro, we are your friends.
I will drink for your well-being.

The Witcher is my all time favourite RPG series (I've also read all the books)

I'm sure it had a lot to do with the artistic approach, but also with the communist regime (we weren't a part of the USSR but basically 99.9% of our politics were decided by the soviets)

The Witcher (1) had a great story, I still remember the noonwraith very well (Dominions is also a very good gaming series for slavic folklore)

Meh, I'm sure we're all in the same boat. Too many people, too few jobs, so the companies get to ask ridiculous claims like 5 years of experience as a hamburger turner before you even get the shittiest of jobs
t. 24 years fucking old and still haven't got a god damn job (despite hundreds of applications) because my parents aren't rich assholes who can arrange one for me

We have jobs but most pay shit, I work as a security guy and in comparison with people in IT I get nothing, thanks dog my mother founded her own company and I help her, otherwise I would have to eat noodles all the time. Too bad I never was into IT business.
Tell me about Finnish folklore that you think is related to ours, it's interesting.

Here you are expected to get your first job working for your parents (or through your parents) and if you don't, you will have a very bumpy ride compared to others. And I can't point out any single tale to its fullest (probably because I'm drunk and can't remember that good right now), but essentially anything about Russian folklore that seems alien to you is taken from finnic tribes. There are drowned women in lakes, wood spirits, animal spirits, small "goblins" who harm you etc. If it wasn't for the Swedes, Finns would be pretty much 100% slavic (our first written language was using cyrillic, Russians first spread christendom here in the 7th century etc.), which is also why in viking Novgorod Finns and Swedes held better legal rights than slavic tribes (according to some historic sources, I don't wanna get into a fight here about what other people said).

This is very interesting, I feel more connected with Finland after participating ITT.
>drowned women in lakes
Rusałka, we have that too.
We have Wodnik, Licho, Baba Jaga and more.
>I don't wanna get into a fight here about what other people said
I'm drunk too and not in a mood for any fights.
Damn I'm tired.

Fun fact, południca's attack was most probably what the peasants back then believed a sunstroke to be. That's why they avoided going into the field during high noon with no shadows nearby.

Modern Poland has many similarities with Funland, thanks to WWII. Before that we were nothing alike (well, we were, but not on a cultural/political level, since you guys were a dominant player in european politics), but these days we can both relate to shitty jobs, bleak future, past communist fuck ups etc. Also we are both the 2 most uncucked countries in Europe. And we both love Simo Häyhä (at least from what I've been told) ^^

Stay with me, Finbro is tired
Posting a pic to summon Russians

I'm a huge history buff so stuff like that is exactly what tickles my funny bone. It's interesting to try to perceive the world through our ancestors eyes and see things like they did.

>Simo Häyhä
I've heard about him, I will read more. Read about this guy when you will feel like it, especially about the Auschwitz operation: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witold_Pilecki

>stuff like that is exactly what tickles my funny bone
same here, even as a kid I've been into mythologies an shiet
I have this pic saved because it intrigued me, what the hell are these?

Didn't read the whole thing yet but seems like a great man, willing to die for his people is always a sign of a great man.

Some sort of fog spirits (Finns were animalistic before christendom, we believed everything from trees to rocks to birds to air to water to insects etc. had their own spirits) sorry I can't give you a more detailed answer but we have also lost a great deal of our history thanks to germanic shitters.

Can I communicate with people in Finland only with English? Maybe in bigger cities? I like your country more and more. I will bring my Nuuskamuikkunen toy.

>And we both love Simo Häyhä (at least from what I've been told) ^^
He's not widely known here by name, but his nickname is recognizable. Top sniper score in the world and wacky camouflage tactics are pretty dank achievements
>we have also lost a great deal of our history thanks to germanic shitters.
Welcome to the club

Pretty much everybody understand English well enough to at least point you in the right direction, and the younger generations (40 and younger) can speak English almost at a native level (obviously not the accent, but vocabulary wise)

Great.
Suomi here I come! (As soon as I save some money).
I want to see aurora borealis at least once in my life, is it a common sight?

You need to go to the northern areas of Finland (or else light pollution will stop you from seeing them unless you're lucky) during winter, spring or fall and you will see them. Aurora borealis is actually something that is also close to my heart, since it sparks a sort of primal reaction in me and makes me think how our non-scientific ancestors might have reacted to something so awe inspiring and magical. Also remember that Finns aren't called autistic just because of 4chinz memes, we seem distant and cold to many foreigners unless we are drunk.

I also plan on visiting Poland once I have a steady job, one of my friends is half Polish (he speaks native Polish with his parents and goes to Poland 2-3 times a year) so he can show me all the great places regular tourists wouldn't find.

I will go there then next winter if I will save enough money, I've never seen this occurrence, it will be magical I guess.
>we seem distant and cold to many foreigners unless we are drunk.
When I meet Finns I will make sure to get drunk with them fast and socialize, I'm myself a little distant and 'anti'-social until I get drunk, I will fit right in.
>and goes to Poland 2-3 times a year
Where to Poland?
I'm from Warsaw but it's a business city, I recommend Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań and such.

Sorry my internet went down (haven't paid the bill in 3 months though, guess they noticed... posting this from my phone). His family is from Warsaw but he also regularly goes to Krakow. Those are the 2 places he knows like his backpockets so probably where I'll be visiting too (although if I come to Poland I also want to see historical places like Marienburg, even if just briefly).

There are some nice places to see in Warsaw that many people don't know about, have fun. I think I will try and get some sleep, good night (day) Finn bro, take care.

Good night Polebro

Why don't you all unite and fight the west in order to create a slavic world?
What do you think about pan-slavism?

It's a beautiful idea but we would start fighting with each other, also I don't want to sound butthurt but Russia would overpower us.
Maybe West Slav (or V4), East Slav and South Slav unions would work.

how do slavs feel about irishmen?

I used to live in Ireland, auld Irish folk are great, younger too except for some knackers.
Generally good opinion.

I see your point, but I think the slavic nations should unite in a coalition for defending themselves against the west, just in case something huge happens in the near future
Nato is a western thing and serves nothing to you, and when it comes to eastern europe all we see is just russia all alone doing everything

There should be another warsaw pact or something like that for defending your interests, but I understand that poland fears russian invasions and keeps its membership to nato anyway

Good morning, my man
I don't post a lot here on /slav/, but now it's like midnight in brazil
I'll try to post here a little bit earlier next time 2bh

I bet the irish are distant slav bros. Most look quite slavic.

We have a long and bumpy history with Russia, you know.
I cannot see this happening, not now for sure.
Just stating facts, I actually know some Russians and like them. History and politics are bitches.

thanks
try it, thats good treatment for many things

Average russian know nothing about Ireland except of you drink a lot and fight for independence (with terrorism)

>fight for independence (with terrorism)
does this mean they associate ireland with chechnya?

>thats good treatment for many things
I know, I am just out of it now.
You should visit Ireland, it's beautiful. Always green.

>History and politics are bitches.
Couldn't agree more, lad

Poland, why did indonesia steal your flag?
You should revolt against it, you know.
I see a lot of romanians around Cred Forums complaining about chad stealing their flag and stuff, I guess that would be a valid point

Nah, maybe Germoney will invade Indonesia next time by mistake)))

no
Checnya it's our sore spot and Ireland somewhere "there"
and also you are not financed the by the US

I have never ever visit near region

Too bad. You might call us plumbers etc. but at least we can travel easly and it's not far to many places in Europe.
I fell in love with Ireland, visited it many times.

a few people in Russia also can travel
and even buy football and basketball teams

That I'm sure of. Too bad we are not them.

Looks nice but damn, so far
>Have you ever taken the Trans-Siberian railway?
No but I thought about this

trans siberian railway it's shit
you don't want to live in train 2 weeks

Hello fellow fingol

hi there Timmo
I'm not native Siberian tho

Would love to visit krasnoyarsk some day
I wonder why most of the video is around a bridge, is there something else to see around there? I suppose it's a pretty big city east the urals

I think it must be the coolest train trip ever
Specially in the autumn
I've read some reviews online from some people that did the trip and all of them loved it
The sad part is that virtually no one can speak english, so I'll have to study russian quite hard long before planning on the trip

If you say so, I've heard good opinions
>I've read some reviews online from some people that did the trip and all of them loved it
me too
>so I'll have to study russian quite hard long before planning on the trip
I could just speak polerussian, heh

youtube.com/watch?v=w0hurJKOTpU

Yeah, the trip must be quite tough
But you get to go through mongolia and a few places that are quite far away from where everybody goes

Man, what a cool video, wow.
It should be as cool as doing western europe, but instead of major monuments and big cities you would get to see just natural landscapes and a part of the world just a few people get to travel to.
It must be a wonderful experience traveling to those places imo.

6min is the best, I hoped you turned on subs
I love travelling, maybe I will do this one day too

>I wonder why most of the video is around a bridge,
There is 6 bridges (1 pedestrian, 4 for cars and 1 for trains), 3 of them on the video
One of our bridges is our pride
"At the time of construction Communal Bridge is the longest road bridge in Asia"

What do you do for fun in your spare time?
Do you get to see many foreigners every now and then?
Are there different dialects of russian as you can easily find a lot of dialects in western europe, or does russia just speak one standard version for all the country like english in america?

same as before Urals
>What do you do for fun in your spare time?
We have race ring, trail for snowboarding, football, basketball, volleyball, hockey fields and so on
you can rent a sled huskies or water bike or helicopter
you can do what you want if you have enough money
>Do you get to see many foreigners every now and then?
No I have seen a few of them: Spanish (students), Tunisian girl (student), Englishman (pilot), germans and americans (tourists) and a lot of chinese of course
Also 3-5 niggers live there
>Are there different dialects of russian as you can easily find a lot of dialects in western europe, or does russia just speak one standard version for all the country like english in america?
Some states has their own languages but everyine speak russian
And we can understand each other, we have no russian dialects

>you get to go through mongolia
no you don't

That's cool.

Crappy climate, little fresh fruit and everything is expensive.

Drink vodka, watching television, repairing old bikes and cars

>Do you get to see many foreigners every now and then?
See foreigner = see the angel of heaven.

>Are there different dialects of russian as you can easily find a lot of dialects in western europe, or does russia just speak one standard version for all the country like english in america?
The pronunciation of some words is different and the speed of speech. Not critical to understand.

Do you go hunting bears and all of that things people imagine about Siberia, or is it just a normal place to live?
Is there some "distinct" tradition or habit people from your region had that you think people would find different and unusual in their countries?

>After auditioning 400 girls, Shapovalov selected Katina for t.A.T.u. at the age of 15.
