Venetian - Italian doubles the N. (nonno/nonna). In my family "avô" and "avó" always implied the paternal ones.

Curious, do you have any Iberian ancestry you know of? I think that one model inflates it to some degree since it put me at over 12%. 23and only put me at 1.8% South Euro (and 0.7% Sardinian within that) but a lot of other analyses have me with a significant chunk of West Mediterranean.

Yes my ancestry is spanish with 7% amerind 7% ssa 7% mena

All of my grandparents are Australian. All of my great-grandparents were Australian. 15/16 of my great-great-grandparents were Australian, the other was a potato nigger.

Average Argie as fuck.

Weren't Iberians and Irish genetically related?

All grandparents were born in America, 1/4 were of Italians, 1/2 of Poles, and then 1/4 French Canadians who were here for a long time before the rest

Interesting, I might actually have more south Euro in me than I thought. My 23andme put my Northwest Euro at 88% on 50% confidence but when I cranked that down to 90%, it was more like 45%.

Better get out the bacalhau I guess.

IIRC the Irish have some genetic ties to Basques and Portuguese. The Basques settled in Ireland or something, and the Portuguese are related through some ancient neolithic atlantic population. In pre-roman times Iberians were celtic.

Iberians were and are iberians.

Odd i have 0 arabian but near east what is that?

I mean, it's been roughly the same people there for thousands of years with faint outside influences (Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths, Moors), but they spoke celtic languages.

Perhaps Turkish.

i figured hungary or generally hungarian ppl is the ultimate multiculti nation

my maternal granny's family was slovak, living in hungary but they went back in 45
my maternal grandpa has his old hungarian family name

my paternal granny's name was also slovak
my paternal grandpa's name is german

and the whole country is full of similar ppl or even straight just called "German" "Croat" etc

but we are all hungarians without muh heritage

Ukraine before there was a Ukraine. All I know is they spoke Ukrainian, dyed eggs for Easter, and cooked Bortcht using stuff they grew on the farm once they moved here.

Supposedly they lived near the black sea but ended up in Poland when on their way to immigrate to Canada. There's also a village with the family name near the black sea in western Ukraine, so it's likely we come from that area.

Mothers side of the family is unclear due to early deaths, and one parent being adopted. Possibly Scottish.

Can't really blame him though. It's like my Polish grandpa talking about the "niggers turned inside out" (Germans)... those folks had it hard.
