Yeah, we provided them with weapons, supplies, cash, then with men, and most importantly, with a decent navy.

Before our formal entry in the war, you guys had undisputed control of the sea, so the British army was always decently supplied, and could always retreat to the nearest port in case of defeat, put the men on the boat, then reappear a bit up or down the coast.

If you consider that it started with the start of English colonisation in the late 16th century, or with the Act of Union in 1707, then France, Spain, the Netherlands, Afghanistan. Other countries put up a good fight, but as far as I know didn't outright win. And even with Afghanistan it's disputable. There might be others that I don't know about, though.

The British made some conmemorative coins and some rumours say that even the Rule Britannia was made in conmemoration for this victoy.

After hearing about their defeat, king George II banned writing about this battle and got rid of the coins.
