"The big difference between America and Europe is that in America, when you see a guy riding around in a limousine, you think 'Wow, if I work really hard, I could be riding in that limo someday!' whereas in Europe, when you see a guy riding around in a limousine, you think 'Dammit, I'm gonna get that bastard.'"

tl;dr Americans are born and bred to be subservient wagecucks

Easy to say for a billionaire that made his money on the dream of the masses.

The truth is that in Europe you actually have a chance of getting a Skoda some day, while in America you will always be driving a Kia.

No one drives a limo here. Not even the rich people. I guess the attitude paid off.

>tfw have no idea what any of this actually means
driving yourself is for plebs

>taking your political opinions from U2

Play One, shut the fuck up about Africa.

I don't know how Americans got so cucked. I remember when I worked at Wendy's my manager had a long ass talk with me about how if I worked with passion (even at a shitty fast food restaurant) I could become rich. Tbh what I think we need is a leader who is a mix between Bernie and trump. You know, someone charismatic and strong willed and also intelligent and economically left wing

One is Metallica m8

>economically left wing

Regulation is only gonna make the big corporations stronger.

I don't fucking know. Just someone who wants to improve the condition of the poor and lower middle class

There we go, Stinky. Big corporations _love_ regulation. It helps protect monopolies and snuff out upstart competitors with potentially better, cheaper product.

>Just someone who wants to improve the condition of the poor and lower middle class

The world has been controlled by these kind of people for some time and the condition of the poor and middle class is getting worse.

He was right though. You can become rich in America by working hard.

>and the condition of the poor and middle class is getting worse

It is? When my grandfather was a kid in the 1930s, half the damn country lived like the Middle Ages still with no electricity or indoor plumbing and dropping dead at like 51.

Working hard in a fast food restaurant? No

If you have no marketable skills and can only work at Burger King, you deserve your fate.

Wait, didn't Bono hire the world's best accountants to find him a nice comfy tax shelter in the Cayman Islands?

I don't drive a Kia. Are you just trying to tell us that you drive a Kia?

Of course he did. Like literally every wealthy person

that's right americans, just keep working hard with zero sick leave or holidays and an incredibly subpar wage and you will one day be rich!

We're not all stupid enough to believe that. Only brainwashed normies

saying "born and bred" is redundant. makes you a dipshit. dipshit.

Canada has even less days off

Theres Americans cucking for rich people in this thread right now

>The country, which for the most part mandates 10 vacation days annually, ranks ahead of only Japan and the United States, which is in last place.

Chuckled. Still doing better though.

If we had only 10 million people and gassed all our niggers, we too could have that.

depends on the type of regulation, don't you think?

though both of our major parties seem to support regulations that benefit large corporations (see: TPP)

that's right australians, just keep working easy with sick tons of sick leave and holidays and an incredibly bloated wage and you will afford a house in a major Australian city.

Isn't Australia the country where it's illegal to look at porn of women with A-cup tits?

Wow

Wife and I are both 6 figure dollarydoo.

Have decided to give up on buying a house in sydney and just invest in funds/save while renting where we want to live and travelling.

Does Rainbow Dash count as a wife?

>work a shitty minimum wage
>live by on scraps while saving up little by little
>gamble your saving on a local startup business
>business becomes wildly successful
>you are now filthy fucking rich and don't have to work another day of your life

That's the story of how my uncle became a millionare from investing in the first Starbucks, I shit you not.

The Declaration of Independence states that all men are entitled to the pursuit of happiness, not that they're entitled _to_ happiness.

Fucking BTFO that Auscuck

>1930s

So exactly at the the time of New Deal, Smoot Hawley tariff and prohibition.

t. commie
That's what happens when you have the most millionaires and billionaires in the world. Stay mad Europoor transplant

He was born inbred

>business becomes wildly successful

You know there are thousands of people whose business never took off, right?

niggers good at sports and sports are $$$, so they are a cornerstone of any healthy economy.

WTF 60s delay first message of the day here

That's why it's a gamble, baby :)

Err, it is not measured in thousands but rather in percent. 90% of all businesses fail is the correct way to put it.

>You know there are thousands of people whose business never took off, right?
It seems like 90% of failed businesses are restaurants. For whatever reason the idea of owning your own restaraunt only attracts colossal retards

>invest in funds
good like with that. 90% of all traders fail. they just fail.

No man, not all members of a society can be boss, who's gonna drive your limo?

Well its easy to visualise isn't it? Most people can cook and all you need is a kitchen and somewhere to eat.

Haha true. The same place changes hands every 3 to 5 years but they never learn.

It seems like around here, only the big chains can succeed. And some china buffets for obvious reasons. The rest spend too much money on their chef and a manager(!) and go belly up pretty quick.

Is that why gordon ramsay's kitchen nightmares has a ridiculous close rate post-screening?

That's bullshit that only big restaurants can succeed and you know it. I ate at tons of medium / small sized restaurants when i was in the US

What you describe is the survival bias. Of course you ate somewhere I believe you. But 80% of all restaurants fail in 5 years. On the other hand 20% succeed. It is still a lot of restaurants, yes. So you are right, it is incorrect to say that only big chains can succeed.
