Argentina and Portugal have the same poverty rates as Kazakhstan, Turkey, Morocco and commie Venezuela.
Can we really categorize Argentina and Portugal as """""''white""""" countries?

Yeah, nah, most developing countries devalue their currencies every once in a while to stay competitive, so your average basic, local produced stuff costs the same on 'time worked', it's just harder to import shit from abroad, and that's mostly luxury stuff 99% of the time

Nice painting over Portugal, but I can still see the dark blue in Lisbon, and the country is way too wide.
An Aussie would've done better.
Since 2016 it is considered poor all who live on less than 850 dollars as a condition precedent to an actual measure of poverty.

Don't tell me, tell the wikipedia editors. Or become one yourself.
I don't know anybody that lives with less than a dollar in Portugal. Maybe in rural areas where they have their own agriculture and animals so they don't need anything other than electricity and water (generall from a fountain so they don't pay)

Poverty depends on what is defined by the particular country. It's relative, especially considering different living costs and standards.
