its not the same as the system in canada, uk or spain. its run by insurances that are funded and regulated by the government, so in that sense its better than the american system, and its private so you dont have to wait for several months for a procedure like in this shithole, but in netherlands there are things that you have to pay for sometimes because they arent covered, or surgeries that are denied because there's a cheaper way to "fix" the issue
