There's a click sound in the beginning of the pad, might be something you can cut off in the beginning or soften within the synth. Other than that I don't have any other problem with it, and even that might be something that only bothers me. I like the tight snares in contrast with the reverb on the claps, keeps the percussion tight, yet full and mellow.

Listening to interlude, tone instantly made me think old modest mouse, same with the wood block percussion, which makes it instantly nostalgic for me, so I like that part about it. It's a very nice interlude man, the dog and background noise adds a lot of ambiance.

psych's intro made a little too loud popping noises, forgivable since it's just a demo, just clipping issues are a trigger for me, kek.
the reverse layering though was very harsh, and needs a ton of work to be listenable, but it could be very cool once you get a better recording/mixing set up.

I wouldn't normally build around a gate myself, but it'd fine, nice snappy snare drum. Some of the ambient parts get a little to up there on the high end for me. It's fine for what it is. It gets a little better when the drums and sub come in, could be a good background track, or interlude, main problem I have with it is some of the ambient glassy noises that come in are a little harsh.

First track, do nothing, feedback went on for a bit too long in the intro in my opinion, but a very nice ambience, it'd make a god background loop for indie game/film. Sorta just fades out, but I think it'd work great as a loop to sell commercially, I mean if you ever wanted too.

Listening to fluxitine, nice voice, very simple and mellow, Idk if minimal is what you what going for, but for just guitar and vocals it's good. I was waiting for drums and bass to kick in anytime though, maybe make a less minimal version someday.

Neither of us are really singers, but thanks for taking the time to listen, we'll be putting an instrumental version of it on the EP too, so it's not a huge deal, they might blend better when he master/polishes it.

EDM lyrics are cheesy a lot of the time, especially the happy/uplifting stuff. Obviously we're not lyricist either, so no offense taken at all. Glad you thought the production was tight, it'll be even title when the final mastering is finished.

Thanks, they were a total after thought, I came over the day after making the track, and he fit vocals over it, I rewrote the lyrics to fit the theme more and be less edgy than they were.

That said I told him I wanted the instrumental mastered before mastering it with vocals, I was afraid doing the vocal mastering would cut some room out of the instrumental for them.

I liked the idea of having a track with vocals, plus they always seem to be more popular.

One day i set aside my place as a just a listener and tried rapping. I wrote a few songs with beyond shitty sound quality and lyrics posted, but i had fun doing it and knowing it other people enjoyed it was a fuzzy feeling. I like to think through my lines even if people dont get it, and when im vulgar for the sake of vulgarity at least like to be clever about it. So I met up with Sam (soundcloud.com/frank-samuel-music) and he helped me in the studio to get the latest thing i posted sounding great, and rerecord 2 other songs still currently demos. Almost everyone i've shown my stuff to has told me i should do shows and shit, as a musician how do i get myself out there. Im going to to a house show my friends band was playing and the owner said i could do a set after its done. Most of my friends are metal heads and my fiend play ska-folk-punk kinda shit. Tons of strangers but ill have fun with it, wish me luck.

B2 I literally can't tell if you're recording a guitar, or a brass instrument.

Seldom is slightly better, it sounds like an actual song and, and like it could be something cool if the quality was better.

My advice is get a better mic, even in the 50 dollar range, like a shure or something, and either level or record far back enough so you don't clip. If interface is a problem at least get a used snowball/yeti, those are at least tolerable, and would keep the aesthetic of cheap recording.

If you're doing cheap webcam mic recording on purpose then disregard what I said, I don't mean to offend, I know money is tight in some circumstances, others just think bad quality adds character (that's a lie imo.)

Great bass sound, nice smooth track overall.

Like it, buttoo much autotune. Lower the retune speed and distort it like a madman if you have something like Decapitator or maybe some radio distortion. Just my opinion though.

Pan the high hat, sounds great though live the crash/splash or whatever it is called.
