yeah, but will it be a big year for good music?

Nothing in your Future category is important.

Only one of those is good though.

Wasn't Gorillaz pushed back?

I agree that 2016 is a stunning year for music, but you picking all the worst examples.

Dont forget jai paul

But will it be better than 2013?

Gorillaz was moved to 2017

you forgot Justice. album release in 1½ months.

>this is how pleb neo-Cred Forums has become

Views is the thriller / dark side of the moon of our generation

Ahahahaha

No TPAB is that, I don't know anyone IRL that still gives a fuck a bout Views, most people have forgotten it, including the Drake fans that I know.

>new albums by old artists
>muh biggest year in music
2016 is one of the shittiest years in the history of pop music, it's like late 80s/early 70s-tier shittiness

there is no thriller/dsotm of our generation

>Slowdive LP4
>At The Drive-In LP4
>Shmilco
>The Glowing Man
>New Justice
well then...

gorillaz is 2017 and MGMT probably will be too. Can't wait for either tho

lmao
haven't checked out shmilco yet, is it worth it if i liked being there?

>Gorillaz 2016
i fucking wish
if it hadnt moved to 2017 this would have been a great year

It was pushed to early 2017, I believe.

>New American Football as well

Don't forget Woman - Justice

>No Atrocity Exhibition on the list

Why don't you have album of the century on the list? baka.

rumored outkast album as well

I really like this whole 'culture' meme, wherein I'm obligated to give a shit about an album or miscellaneous thing because some foreign arbitrator of contemporary culture says so.

I really, really like this meme - seriously. That's sarcasm.

I haven't listened to even one of those releases and have no intention to in the foreseeable future.

Enjoy your circlejerk. I'll be over here, informing my own opinions through independent investigation because I don't consider music to be a unit of cultural currency.

HOLY SHIT GUYS! UNTY'S BACK!

Was it just me or were you gone for like months, did you get a gf?

Bottomless Pit was a huge disappointment
TLOP was alright
Views was boring
I haven't heard blonde
Vampire Weekend broke up and MGMT's live streams show that the songs are just them going to jump on the 80's pop trend without effort
2015 was a better year
Also Gorrilaz delayed the album for 2017

Sequins and C-bombs, it's the album of the year, clearly.

2013 was so amazing. Great year to seriously get into music

I haven't posted very frequently but I've been here. I just have little to discuss most on this board.

I don't have a girlfriend, although I have adopted other interests and hobbies to occupy the time I'd otherwise spend on this website.

one word: generic
it's the most bland and banal wilco release yet. I'd recommend skipping it. Disappointing, considering Star Wars was pretty fun.

>Bottomless Pit was a huge disappointment
>TLOP was alright
what the fuck are you talking about lmao

>music
>important

don't forget Living with Ghosts in SIX days.

i agree. views is an experience. not every track is amazing, but the beautiful production and great performance on every track by drake definitely makes up for that. views is easily a strong 8 to a light 9.

I remember being a kid and thinking Gorillaz, MGMT, and Arcade Fire were good bands too. You'll grow out of it eventually.

Also, check 'em

>35 posts
>no mention of Skeleton Tree

...

I'm saying Bottomless Pit was Death Grips worst project yet

...

>2016 has been / will continue to be one of the *biggest* years in music for a long time.
No. People have been saying that on Cred Forums for every year, most likely since it's beginning.
Also, that list is awful.

Seriously can't wait. Disappointed by the low number of tracks but both singles are great.

2007 pls go

Do you have any link for the MGMT streams?

seconding this

>ctrl+f "nick", "skeleton tree"

Sorry no, and the one on their Twitter us unavailable

I think it will be shit but we'll see.

rumored new jamiroquai too lmao

Just need Roger Waters to drop his fourth solo album and 2016 will be complete.

Theyre on the mgmt subreddit I think
