Ys is lush and dense; Have One on Me is much subtler and unfolds more gradually and all of the tracks are clearly geared towards one narrative

I find it to be the reverse; GWS has forays into cutesy melodic pop with Don't Laugh I Love You, the sprawling funky LMLP, whatever the hell you'd call Mushroom Festival in Hell, and Birthday Boy is heartbreaking

But the song structure always just kinda sound samey to me, they're all just kinda 2 minute bursts of noise save a few.
The Pod just gets like outright weird and I just really love it. I like GWS too obviously, Ween is my all time favourite band, but I just always found GWS to be kinda overrated compared to The Pod and to some extent Pure Guava, which were less focused but more brown, for lack of a better word.

Three Cheers is my favorite Jeff material too, I also thought I Look Like Shit is his best solo. Give Others! another listen if you haven't recently, This Graceless Planet and If Assholes Got Awards are the standouts imo. Be sure you've got the ASOB Complete Discography, it has a few good ones that aren't on any of the other releases. I can link it if you can't find it
