This album was my introduction to David Bowie. It's so beautiful any Bowie recs?

>I’m trying to
>I’m dying to

Still hurts.

>the fucker had the gall to do a promotional photoshoot dressed in the clothing he intended to be cremated in and both photos are him laughing in our fucking faces about getting away with one last magic trick
so fucking based

this photo makes me sad every time i look at it

I'll never be able to listen to a new album made by an aging artist without looking for signs that the lyrics are about their death or something again

Start with The Man Who Sold the World and go chronologically to Let's Dance, skip the following albums until you get to Outside and continue listening chronologically until you get to Blackstar

'tonight' wasn't that bad

what?

I still miss him guys
(;_;)7

the neon demon is better than drive Tbh

Honestly I feel like he left in the most appropriate way possible. So much so that I don't miss him because I appreciate how he handled it

This.

David Bowie is my favourite musician ever.
I'm the biggest Bowie stan I know.

Tonight was not good at all. Even the cover of God Only Knows was trash. And Bowie had the talent to do it way better than he ended up doing it.

The man couldn't have gone out any better. Dude was a genius.

Blue Jean is one of my favorite songs.
Loving the Alien is pretty good too.
But yeah, the album isn't that great.

Don't forget to listen to special editions and compilations and singles and live albums.
Otherwise you'll miss out on stuff like Absolute Beginners or This is Not America.

Those are the only two songs on that album I still listen to t b h.

Me too man :(

I cried when I watched the Lazarus video for the first time bh

WHERE THE FUCK DID MONDAY GOO

Girl Loves Me and Tis a Pity She Was a Whore are the best tracks on Blackstar.

If you enjoyed Blackstar I can't recommend the Berlin trilogy enough

Don't skip Black Tie White Noise or Buddha of Suburbia.

Basically listen to 1970-1983, 1993-2016

The only two albums within these time frames you can skip are Pinups and Hours.

If you must stay pleb, his top 5 in no particular order are for the most part agreed to be Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, Station to Station, Low, and Heroes.
