venus armata surprised me
it was a lot less noisy than i expected from Menace Ruine, maybe even restrained at times - at least compared to their earlier releases
however, the vocals are absolutely fantastic here and i liked the droning, sorrowful atmosphere a lot
so it's by no means a disappointing album
