God fucking damn, this album gets better every-time I listen to it.

It's so fucking creative, energetic, fun. The lispy spongebob vocals really grow on you, somehow. The instrumentals are on point.
Consistent as fuck too, anyone else love this album? Favorite tracks?

i like it

bug infested floorboards is probably my favourite

What are they called? I have the album but keep forgetting the name of the band

the brave little abacuses

nevermind its the Brave Little Abacus.

I love the song The Blah Blah Blahs

empire! abacus! i wrote haikus (in snow)

>best
pile! no pile! pile!
>runner-up
can't run away
>worst
Allston, Massachusetts (not bad though)

>best moment
first 50 seconds of bug-infested floorboards

this album is just as good if not better

>a map of the fucking stars

I THINK I'LL LEAVE THIS PLACE NOOOOOOOOOW

>And as things grew more complicated, conscious expansion cultivated, the books' ideas, songs' polyphony, texture, content danced around me.

I love the way he meshes the words together. sounds fucking awesome.

10/10 fucking emo album
this is probably my favorite emo album, it's not repetitive and same-y like some other emo records are

is it better than American Football?

Agreed. The album sounds refreshing every time I hear it. It's as masterful and creative as they come in the genre.

it's quite different but I think it blows AF and all other midwest emo out the water. it sounds nothing like the other albums.

>BUT I DON'T WANT YOUUUUUUUUUUUOUUU

>You hate everyone
>To you, everyones a moron or a creep or a poser
>Why do you suddenly care about their opinion of you?

>Because Im shallow okay
>I want them to like me

this album seems so cringey and awful, i havent mustered up the courage to try it

wow those are not lyrics that i want to hear

Try Masked Dancers first. Much more raw and less twinkly. Just as good too.

It's a sample from Malcolm in the middle that plays in an interlude iirc, not something they sing

gay ass meme garbage

At some point it stops

i always think thats ian mackeye

>gay ass meme

Hip-hop fans everyone

Fucking beautiful album. Anyone got any other experimental or decent post-rock influenced emo recs? This album and pic are two of my faves.

I could never for the life of me get myself to enjoy this
hhhh

Have you listened to TWIABPAIANLATD?
Some really good post-rock stuff going on, I wouldn't say it's very experimental though.

>twiabp
go away, derek

you mean

ADRIAN?

i'm no derek user
