Recently acquired gf and she's been influencing my music taste lately. she actually put me back on Keaton Henson who I used to listen to all the time but kinda forgot him. I'm fairly impressed with his new album in how he's progressed artistically even if it's not the greatest thing I've heard this year.

Excellent taste, check out Let's start by Igor Wakhevitch. He was a pupil of Messiaen from what I know, he's got a beautiful take on minimalism.
