There is no greater meaning behind the music or attempt at provoking thought within the listener, merely aiming to be a backdrop to adolescent parties as the songs become increasingly slurred into one pumping rhythm to drunkenly dance to. This is fine as a premise for a genre, it is filling a gap in the music market that the audience is asking for, but does little to affect the current state of the disposable nature of the songs. These tracks won’t be remembered as great or revolutionary, they will only be remembered through the phenomenology of the experience to the listener, damning themselves to be nothing but nostalgic memories long in the future.
