I find a lot of 90s NY rap to be quite depressive and dark e.g. mobb deep - drink the pain away, or misc. songs from 36 chambers and ready to die.

newer artists like night lovell and suicideboys have quite a dark and depressing aesthetic too

Memphis Hip Hop definitely has a very dark and depressing atmosphere to almost every tape.

"The Havoc" by Graveyard Productions is one of the best albums from the scene and has incredibly dark and eerie production. I read a review perfectly describing it as "If Lord Aäkon Këëtrëh made a hip-hop record, this right here is the answer", Aäkon Këëtrëh being a French black metal musician who made equally depressing music also worth checking out.
