User thinks there is another 90's album better than SFTB

>user thinks there is another 90's album better than SFTB
You're honestly retarded if you think so. Sorry.

First

(You)'re retarded

Laughing Stock

Mad?

No. I'm just saying you're stupid if you think that. SFTB isn't even the best Swans album let alone the best album of the nineties.

now kys

>SFTB isn't even the best Swans album
Interesting. Would like to hear what your pick for best?
>let alone the best album of the nineties.
What ever.

I'm serious

See

I used to hate this album but about a week ago it finally clicked with me

I know a lot of 90s albums better than Soundtracks.

just a few

not debatable

listening to this rn
ur right its god tier

...

Rempove Spiderland and RDJ album and the list would be a little better.

>What ever.
get the fuck out of my board with your starting a weak bait thread and not backing it up fuck you

>disliking spiderland
But it's the best album of the 90s by far. The amount of tension in it is unbelievable. You're really missing out if you haven't really gotten the full experience of it yet.

lmao

What is it you dislike about it? I'm genuinely curious now.

with onions that hot, don't even bother replying to him

>get the fuck out of my board
Look who's the real b8 here.

All spiderland has is the fact it's a "one of a kind". The album is literally the same song stretched 39 minutes.

Isn't this album like 10 hours long or some shit? Surely most of that is filler

>don aman, washer, and nosferatu man all sound the same
okay

It's two and a half hours, and it's not filler

None of these are as good as Soundtracks for the blind.

>volcano
>anything but filler
now thats just not true

>he doesn't like the Jarboe tracks

The easiest way to tell if someone is an uncultured pleb or not is to ask them what they think of the Jarboe tracks on soundtracks for the blind. If they don't like them, then they are a grade A 100% certified pleb. Volcano is probably one of the most haunting tracks of the decade, and it is like this due to its context within soundtracks for the blind.

Ok, maybe saying they all sound is probably a stretch. Whatever.
But i don't think it's as good as a lot of people say it ist. I can appreciate it for technically being a one of a kind album, and influencing the Post-Rock genre.
It felt underwhelming to me. I would have liked it if it was longer and more ambitious.
And that shitty poetry talk on most of the songs here is just obnoxious.

You don't like volcano, that's neat. But I do and I'm sure many others do too. Stop trying to dissect this album objectively and accept the fact that, being the strange album it is, there will be vastly differing opinions on it.

Of all the songs to label filler, you choose one of the best

>labeling specifically that as a 90's album

op confirmed for underage.

came here to post this

lik u?

I love the album but people like you are ruining its reputation. Relax you militant Spidernazi

>Modern Life Is Rubbish
>Parklife
>Definitely Maybe
>What's The Story? Morning Glory
>RATM
>Different Class
>Urban Hymns
>Ready To Die
>This is Hardcore

you know it's true

agreed

Honestly I think it is the most painfully mediocre album that is Cred Forums core, and it is the first album on the chart.

>implying volcano isn't one of the standout tracks

I bet you haven't even listened to all of them you fucking Jew.

lmao the synth intro in Helpless Child is better than Damon's entire discography.

SFTB is one of Swans' worst albums and literally should not even be in anyone's top 100 albums of the 90s

Ehhhhhhhhhh

I love them both to death but they're kinda completely different circles. The Mollusk is a happy album whereas SFTB is relatively depressing, at least to me.

SFTB is better than Loveless and Aphex Twin's first album, easily.

Go fuck yourself if this isn't b8 you emotionless robot who only likes drums.

>Honestly I think it is the most painfully mediocre album that is Cred Forums core

That's still Loveless.
Maybe Hospice, but probably Loveless.

ITAOTS actually reaches heights, Loveless just kinda floats above average.
