Really excited about this new double track, they were inspired by my most recent burn.

The first one is like its name suggests, dancing in the desert while a dust storm swirls around you.

The second track is a bit more melancholic, very solomun-inspired. Really happy with how it came out, very catchy I think, even though it has 6-bar symmetry which is a little atypical.

I really like how that piercing sound punctures the wavy texture that you opened with!

I like the idea of the bass, but I feel like it could use a little more sustain maybe. I think it sounds really cool though when it switches to a more straightforward rythym.

What is chiptune btw?

It's not really my type of music, but I really like some of the production, and the switch to the low vocals from the high vocals sounds really nice.

Chiptune, as far as I know anyway, is a genre that uses synths reminiscent of older video game console sound chips to compose. Usually the NES but some others as well, like the Commodore or the Atari.

Basically what said. Most of my shit is video game inspired because game soundtracks are what I usually listened to growing up. I've broadened my horizons since then but nothing rocks my jollies like a good game ost.

desu the "lo-fi" aspect sounds a little like you dont know how to render/bounce your track so you have to record it using your gaming headset. actually though, do something with it, its too constant and boring, and takes away from the track, if you rendered some select sounds or the entire track and then re added them in with some automation then it wouldnt be so boring, just a suggestion tho

It sounds like something I could expect as VGBM. I like the subtle drums, but I do think they could be a bit louder. I wasn't able to hear them without headphones on. While your main sound is important, not being able to hear other sounds would take away from the song I think. I like the song though.

I listened to your songs and I like how chill it sounds. I liked Russian beat the most. I do think that while the music sounds good, you should also think a bit more about how people will rap/sing on it if you're trying to produce for other people imo. But good job tho.

Good voice that matches the music well. Beat is abstract, which makes it a bit complicated for me to stay into the flow of the song sometimes (not sure if this was intended). Sounds pretty great overall.

yeah the bass and the percussion are quiet. the reason for that is because im emulating an NES soundcard. and there is no volume control for the triangle channel (bass) or the dpcm sample (drum set). and even worse, they are influenced by each other. so when they overlap, the volume is even more fucked. i'll look into a way around that though.

What's good errbody? Just dropped a new double-track about my most recent experience at Burning Man, would love to hear some feedback, and will return the favor!

Checking out Shallow Waters -- I love the sound of the waves crashing in beginning, really nice ambient foundation going on.

That hit at 1:58 is a little rough, but I generally love the progression of the song up to that point. Love how you dip everything back down at points when the rap comes in, love the quiet contrast.

Love the section at the end.

Mister is very pretty, the very beginning reminds me of animal collective almost, and then the beat comes in, giving it a different feel. Are you using a sample from Fever Ray?

I don't really like this type of music -- but I love the swelling bass, sounds great -- the kick could be a little less harsh maybe. The ambient aspect of the song is really nice too. The end of the track is a little too disjointed for me, but I'm digging your vibes.
