i don't know that album, but I have really been enjoying this band, I like the spacey vibes through their songs and the ambient bits are not completely boring.

The more time passes, the more I think that OFS is truly shit with almost no redeeming points other than Lay the ghost to rest.

Across the Dark is honestly a phenomenal album with two songs that just rub me the wrong way due to how repetitive they are - Lay of the Autumn and Harrowing Years. That and some of the parts sound downright fucking happy (intro to Where The Last Wave Broke).

Biggest flaw is that it sounds nothing like ATWW and I've been taking that very personally since it leaked back in the day.

That's the album where they started introducing the formula.
Down With The Sun is arguably my favourite track by them, but everything else just seems like a bit of a let down with a few minor exceptions.

Often overlooked thing is how Insomnium's lyrics really turned for the worse. I am not someone who particularly gives two shits about lyrics in metal, I rarely read them when it comes to most bands but Insomnium always had this fairly well crafted poetic notch to their words.
