REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.

Chucho Valdés - Jazz Batá (1972)
>jazz, Cuban jazz Straight-ahead jazz from Cuba. Pianist Chucho Valdés is accompanied by Oscar Valdés on bata drums and Cuban percussion, and Carlos del Puerto on bass (all three would form Irakere the following year). "Irakere" cleverly combines the 3/4 feel of John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things" with the 6/8 percussion of santería. "Son No. 2" is the wildest of the batch, with discordant banging from Valdés and even plucking the piano strings.

>Afro-Cuban jazz, Latin jazz, fusion, funk One of the most important albums ever made by a Cuban band. well, you've really not struck a chord with me here... I only really like soil and pimp a little bit. don't really care type of metal that x japan is involved in, never cared about zappa that much and I suspect it's gonna stay like it, and lastly, william bonney is a pure miss.. but nevermind, thank you for sharing and I hope some other person downloads this and likes it
Adam Sullivan
Did you want actual obscure stuff?
I can hook you up with the obscure stuff, but I need to know what you like first.
Hunter Wright
I mostly like slow, dark and heavy music. not necessarily like doom or sludge (though I like that too), but you know, something that tears you apart as you listen to it. Sounds like such a pleb response, but I don't care haha so I if you have something like it that I haven't heard before, it would be awesome
Cooper Carter
Anyone got Guignol-angela, David and the great neopolitan?
Joseph Torres
Hmmm, this will be difficult.
When you say slow, dark and heavy, things like Envy and The Saddest Landscapes spring to mind.
I listen to a lot of Death/Black/Doom Metal, but I can't really take them seriously, thus have less of a "tears you apart" quality.
But yeah, like I said, our perceptions of what's dark and heavy might be completely different
Easton Miller
It's on What.CD, but I've had my leaching disabled.
See if anyone else here can help you out ;)
Ayden Cox
I really want to like this, but the vocals... I usually love screams and growls and shrieks and whatnot, but only under a veil of distorted guitars.. not a screamo fan. but this envy song sounds really like post-rock. If you have some dark post rock like that without the vocals, that could be it
how much of this is at least somewhat original and not just repetition of all the other cosmic terror metal records
Justin Martinez
if you want 'truely original shit' my recommendations from that chart would be timeghoul, demilich, portal, spectral lore, midnight odyssey, oranssi pazuzu, voivod, nocturnus, artificial brain, cynic, wicked innocence, and disembowelment.
those are the records that stood out to me the most in either originality or sheer quality. i'm still diving through a lot of the chart but i've listened to songs off of each record.
>sharethreads always used to be about sharing music, i.e. finding new things to listen to
>instead its just a bunch of people asking for really basic pleb shit (Red Hot Chili Peppers? seriously?) that can be found on google in less than 10 seconds
