Upper jaw, when I still had leftover weed I tried smoking it through my nose with a one-hitter, was surprisingly not that bad, slight burn but totally tolerable and helped the initial pain a lot
I got the tooth removed on Monday and the blood clot fell out on its own yesterday morning (which is why yesterday was extra scary for me) but I woke up this morning and it was still just sore rather than painful, as long as I keep it sanitized today and tomorrow I think it'll be fine to smoke on Monday, since there's no blood clot to dislodge anymore the only risk I have is infection, which is why I gotta kill those microscopic bacteria fuckers dead

On more personal tips, always season more, even when you think your throat is going to burn up, add more spices. if you fry them in a skittle instead of a deep-fryer like i do, fry them until they're golden, make sure that they still have some spring to them, they should be soft on the inside. If the batter is too loose, add flour, if it's too thick, add milk
