>Don't go left
>Looks like its cropped

I can already tell this is a shitty flowchart

...

...

if you love avantgarde/free jazz i have a fantastic label for you to dig through here
you got sun ra, archie shepp, don cherry, gong [not jazz but theyre pretty popular prog rock] etc

anybody have any nice, big charts with lots of albums for any of the following genres? ive gone through the few charts ive liked and i have nothing to really go through besides what i come across

>noise rock
>drone metal
>jazz [any sort of jazz, but preferably modal, avantgarde, or post-bop stuff]

what's with the crop

lambent material is the best ambient album of all time

Would anybody be interested if I made a David Bowie flowchart?

Why do flowcharts even exist?
Literally always just go chronologically if you're interested in the artist at all.

i can understand for artists you can just go chronologically or pick the most popular ones, but what about genres? am i supposed to listen to every album that fits it chronologically?

im sure theres like 5 already just look at sticky

flowcharts for a music genre or an artist with a shit ton of releases are fine imo

Well my guess for it is if an artist has a really large discography and a new fan wants recs/albums more based in their favorite genre.

Because sometimes an artists debut is absolute trash but their later albums are great.

Some artists work well when listened to chronologically, but assuming it's best to listen every artist chronologically is fucking retarded.

Also flowcharts are fun to make, faggot.

i would enjoy it. the one in the wiki only covers a small part of his discography

yeah, and also when there's a fuckton of sideprojects and related artists

For genres just gather up all the artists in that genre and go chronologically.
For artists with huge discogs just go chronologically or go home.

If you get turned off an artist by a shitty debut then go home.
you know what else is fun to make? sandwiches, but i dont wanna make them all the time yknow

A Polish Hip-Hop chart I made really quick based on older, shittier charts, RYM ratings and my own taste

>food analogy
is Cred Forums leaking?

ur moms vag is hahaa

That analogy doesn't make any since.

Can someone make a flow chart for modern indie?

I already know and like some of the "start here" bands/albums (Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Modest Mouse, etc.) but I just have a hard time getting past that.

Making a Bowie flowchart. Posting it soon. Advice would be appreciated.

Well, that's just like

I like this band and still cringe at this list

im going to save this.

...

Why the fuck is the CD for Galdr's self titled banned on discogs?

Flowcharts 4chanmusic.wikia.com/wiki/Flowcharts

Essential charts: 4chanmusic.wikia.com/wiki/Essential_Charts

Discogs bans NSBM, but I didn't know Galdr was NS

Soon as I listen to more second wave, I'll make a second wave chart

...

Why would anyone want to get into Dream Theater

this is shit

Galdr isn't NSBM. They are mainly paganism. Maybe they're banned for being on Darker Than Black?

If that's the case, then discogs needs to stop being retarded.
