Depends on the genre. I like my albums to be about 40 minutes.

No. There is an ideal song count. My dad works at the music company.
What's the ideal song length?
>What it should be
3-11
>1 song on each side so original
2
>Too many to remember
12-14
>I've only liked 4 albums with this many tracks

Definitely putting this one in the library

Between 8-12 is ideal, but I care more about album length. I'd like most albums to be around 40 minutes. Anything shorter blows by too quickly and anything longer feels like a chore. That's not always true, of course, because some of my favorite albums are 15 minutes or well over an hour.

really hard to say
I think everything up to 20 songs is fine
HOW TO SPOT A NORMIE:
>10
I THINK I NEED A NEW
HEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTT
10 to 13, 18 songs is my limit, unless everything is put together well i can dig over 20 tracks.
Album length depends on the genre.
Yeah bruh it's Number 1 if you know what I'm saying.
4 20 minute tracks. Stop using the word 'song'.
I think he's from Reddit.
>Stop using the word 'song'.
Uhm.. No thanks sweetie :)
There are some tracks that don't have lyrics, you are merely continuing the tyranny of the singer.
lol
who cares but between 30 and 80 mins is p ideal
outside can work but ya gotta sell it
Tracks and songs are different things. Take Illinoise for instance. 22 tracks but not every track is a song. Some tracks are interludes, intros, outros, etc. Tracks can be literally anything it only needs to be listed on the tracklist, a song is something more specific.
8-12 tops if you want the album to be memorable. Up to 15 if you want a full album but some songs are bound to be forgotten.
Don't listen to them, that doesn't depend on the genre, the length of each song can be influenced by the genre (a casual pop song can't reach 6 mins, the best I've heard is like 5 and it's already the limit, a jazz song too short is a bad one, it's an interlude / introduction , and the list goes on )
3.5
Typical fucking brainless teen/tween.
yr an internet music boards finest son
>nobody said 9 yet
What the fuck
That's the only patrish answer
The patrician answer is 1.
That's called a single, son
Not if it's an hour long song.
Between 5 and 9. There are exceptions but that's the general zone for enough variety without it being too much.
8-10 is the ideal number.
Also 30-45 minutes is the ideal album length
how can a man be so sexy
9
9 is the only correct answer
There are none. This shit is arbitrary as fuck
newfag
>album
The EP is superior. Five tracks at most. If you feel you need more than five tracks to get your point across, then you are delusional.
1000000000000000000000000000000000
11, maybe 12
32 minutes, 6 tracks.
This. Very few albums justify being an hour or more long
Number of songs is irrelevant, we should discuss length
6 tracks is god tier
11-14, 2min start with a 5-10 end
This, with the only other acceptable numbers being 10 and 12.
Pointless question
The ideal album length is 40-60 minutes, unless it's a double album
