Great and stunning, but not perfect. 8.5/10
>Random Access Memories
>Electronic
>Dance
You have autism, you may not know it yet, but you do.
You're retarded
Daft punk are no different to deadmau5
good jokes mate see you at fuck you
Oh here comes that faggot who says it isn't real music unless the instrumental is done on a cow skin drum and a stone age flute.
Comparing Prime Time of Your Life to deadmau5 is like comparing Hitler and Martin Luther
too abstract
6/10
hit and miss for the most part
It's well recorded, however compositionally it is bland and lifeless.
Boring, cheesy, safe trash. Daft Punk were never good.
It's not perfect, but it's my second favorite of their studio albums.
Weak b8
>bland and lifeless.
just like yer mom when she popped you out of her vag
Ohhhhh, a throwback disco how interesting, that's a period in music that needs revitalization.
On what world do you have to live to not think Daft Punk are EDM?
the one where you worry others think EDM = pleb
One where EDM isn't just a marketing buzzword made up to get people interested in what used to be known as Electro or, before that, simply Dance music.
This is the most boring album ever made
I really liked this when it came out but looking back all the tracks feel so fucking commercial. I guess mixing robots with a genre that is supposed to be full of life and energy was a mistake.
You're taste in music is like overall unborn fetus.
Same as this then.
EDM/Dance music is an umbrella for most techno, house, breaks, trance and UKGarage genres.
Get over it.
in terms of craftsmanship/production yeah i guess but that doesn't make it not boring
on RAM they sure are. it's disco revival
Disco revival is still EDM.
>EDM
what's your point?
>perfect
>get lucky
kek
>caring what metaltards think
The original argument was Daft Punk not being EDM
Dance =/= EDM
House =/= EDM
Disco =/= EDM
It can be depending on how approached, but it isn't always.
EDM as a blanket term for all electronic music that you can dance to is pretty retarded, there's far far too much diversity in sounds for EDM to be taken a serious term
This is Cred Forums, the alternate is the even broader "electronic music" which covers 80 years of music
