EW W W W W W
Kys dawg.

don't trust a thread that's flawless

What?

No. I liked the album, it made me feel like I was floating, but it was nothing beyond a 10/10.

I'm 12 and I think A Love Supreme is a 10/10 record.

You're correct.

Name one thing

Prove me wrong. PROTIP: it would be extremely painful.

I agree with Can and The Books

this honestly

I love Tago Mago but it is very rough around the edges, Future Days is much more "flawless"

It would be, if laughing stock wasn't better albeit less interesting.

Future Days

...

>Prog
>Flawless

Fragile isn't flawless but only plebs don't like prog.

>music
>not subject to relentless interpretation

>flawless

Highway 61 Revisited

Anybody else like Big Star?

There are ONLY three

>TMR
>TBSATSL
>STFTB

that's it

objective

>You
>Faggot

>TBSATSL
What album fag
Also. You're wrong

I do

>capitalizing words
>on this website

:/

:) I like it, not flawless.

hm, agreed

Mingus stands out as the best to me

i think its black saint and the sinner lady

By the fat dude?

Soundtracks is so fucking huge it can't be flawless

But it is. That's the beauty of it

agreed

...

COMIN THRU FUCCBOIS

He did

1/?

2/?

3/?

You should take your trip name advice.

4/?

I remember my first day on Cred Forums.

open.spotify.com/album/0j21NLeNyi3QtU1Y8XJE7l

The second disk of Tago Mago is plenty flawed, and Pink Flag is better than Chairs Missing no matter how contrarian you wanna be. I'll give you the others though.

5/?

>The second disk of Tago Mago is plenty flawed
ay lmao

6/?

Miles Ahead is wayyy better than In A Silent Way. Your whole selection has been nullified by this single point.

7?

nah I can get that, it's still good but it completely kills a little bit of the potential energy that the album had going up to that point

8/?

...

literally 70s BOTDF

everything about this album is perfect to me

...

shit posted a screencap instead of the actual thing lol

2nd symphony is his masterpiece imo

Nice phone background
Too bright for me imo but nice

>literally
As opposed to what, figuratively? Fucking tumblrina teenaged girl

hahah

9/?

OP said flawless not overrated piece of meme crap

this so much. also April and Benji

10/?

STP's best album. Not a single weak track tbhh.

...

jimi

...

Literally no fillers.

I know that a lot of people probably cannot relate to this album but it just reminds me of high school/early university life.

Every song just reminds me of more and more things, it's flawless imo

Agree. Flawless album

Pleb

>post-1945 "animation"

but the pinnacle of the Classical era was written in 1805

i have the same phone lock screen

i cant name any flaws. im sure you can but this album is flawless to me.

>Le RYM face

>Prove me wrong
I'd just have to start playing Spirit of Eden, bro

>being this pedantic and backwards
back to redd it, you might even learn about semantic drift there
literally can literally be used just for emphasis. it's literally "very" but doesn't require an adjective

...

...

11/?

...

mah niggas

12/?

WE LOVE COKE OH YEAH

thes

you must actually have down syndrome if you think this is flawless. completely unlistenable.

...

ye

...

except for skits in the middle

Literally flawless.

THIS

>title track was not released on the album
there's your flaw

The second half is pretty underwhelming compared to the first. Especially the closer.

art

...

...

>STFTB
>Yum-Yab Killers

close, but no cigar

Underknown.

i'm not crazy about Disarm, rest of the album is killer tho

...

>anime fag thinks he knows shit about music

Haha

This so much, and also Boc Maxima

...

This nigga

meh

yeah

it's shit

AnCo is gay

...

...

Ten was better.

Genuinely hate this album lol

Different strokes I guess

Literally them lowering themselves from making pretentious pop to making pretentious $3 Target "Beautiful Music" CDs

>Sinner Lady
>GODDAMNIT
You sure, OP?

red light was better desu

yanks dont get it desu lad only the tumblr kids try

Utterly without flaw

yeah

you know, it took me awhile to get into red light after I had fell in love with pink tape. but after a few listens i think you might be right.

Why do you despise them so much? I would really like to know. I haven't listened to their pop albums or any pop albums for that matter.

Infuckingdisputible

>SECRET SECRET

shitty album

people will probably say shit about this album but this is in my favorite albums list tho i dont listen to it for like 2 or 3 years

the link is dead in the archive, can someone hook it up?

How?

...

normies don't listen to nick drake albums so its shit, sorry

WHITE ANTS RUNNIN'

BLACK ANTS CRAWLIN'

I'm not British or American myself tbẖ but I grew up around British people all my life so that's my connection with the album.

Yeah, probably my favourite youth album.

...

>he thinks art can be flawless

Your dadmom's boipucci

art should be as flawed as the people who make it

that being said

...

I love it, but Know keeps it from being flawless.

...

Prove me wrong

>nine inch nails
>flawless

lol

p good, agree with Tago Mago and Loveless, and IV and The Lemon of Pink are both great but not quite perfect imo
yeah
all not quite for me
not quite but it is a real gem, nice taste mang
no

>An album over 2 hours long
>Flawlesss
Stupid you are

soma's outro is kinda awkward and abrupt

This album drops in quality after Have a Sad Cum

I'd say April is a touch better. Carry Me Ohio pales compared to the rest of the album. Really doesn't fit. I skip every time. Skip nothing on April.

handcuffs is objectively the worst song on there, the only one I don't love

nah. just seems like you're trying to be edgy, tryhard and a little out there.

I'd agree with this. The people that say otherwise just feel as if they should hate it to add credibility to their bad choices in life.

really? i mean its a good album but flawless?

>4 skits in the middle
why

Gyroscope such a momentum killer tho

Not a fan of Life's a Bitch or One time 4 ur mind

good but no

yeah

2nd side is so much weaker compared to Low

yes

yes

have always found this album to be pretentious wank

>San Tropez

Hell yeah

Can't stand most of the first half of this thing

could argue for it

cool but no

no

interesting pick

no

yes

stop

cool but no

...

There are albums I feel are all time great, but are definitely flawed. Like, with you know Loveless would be better without Touched and the stretch from Sometimes to Soon is definitely weaker.

That being said, answers in this thread I agree with:

In a Silent Way, Black Saint and the Sinner Lady
First album I thought of
On board with this, no subpar tracks
Fuck it, this is also flawless and we all know it

Here's another

...

people who say the glass walls of limbo and the empty track keep it from being flawless miss the point of what it was doing

Wasn't expecting this answer. Love og soft Machine

...

This

...

...

>mbv
>good
>seamus

only ones i agree

Perfection

You forgot to add not.

There is no such thing as a flawless rap album

this I guess

Yup

for you

...

10/10

Viola and Big Dipper are great. The former being possibly the best track.

>nothing beyond a 10/10
so, 10/10 = flawless

It's actually perfect so you're evidently wrong kiddo

Even he admits the album is like 15 minutes too long

...

>On Fire
How can you sit through that ENTIRE GODDAMN ALBUM and apparently not have a single problem with it (or all of fucking MPP good god) but you can't stand an interesting minute-long instrumental?

Also Blown A Wish is one of the best tracks on the album get that shit out of here

Yes, but a lot of people will just say it's an 8/10. It wasn't until I heard someone describe it as perfect that I went "yeah wow, it actually kind of is" when I realized I didn't dislike a single track, even Glorious Liberation, which is probably one of the best soundscape bits i've ever heard. That's part of why I don't like Bloody kisses as much. BK's filler-ey tracks don't feel like they work as well with the whole of the album, even if some of the tracks on BK get over OR's average quality.

Steele was right though, it is still a pretty heavy album, it's just that it is more layered. Fuck, Love you to Death is still JUST THAT GOOD.

Honestly, as many times as I try and convince myself that Amnesiac is my favorite because of all its weird charm, In Rainbows is one of the most consistent fucking albums I've ever listened to. Every damn song on that album is 10/10 except Faust Arp and that's only because of the length and the arrangement, I love the lyrics.

My choice is TKoL though. I really appreciate the brevity of the thing, eight tracks and 37 minutes and they're all great. Quality over quantity. I wish more artists would release albums like this

Yes:
>loveless
No:
>Tago Mago
The rest i haven't listened to

...

Some good shit in this thread but nothing flawless yet

6/8
7/8
5/7
8/8
6/8
I'm not really into this but I've listened it
6/8
4/8
And hope someone listen to POL

>inb4 reggae

This one is really good, no joke

gorgeous

...

damn son

Could you give us slightly more detailed ratings?

this little baby

WELL ANYWAY

this album peaked and killed thrash, thats how flawless it is

That's not flawless, it's loveless

I prefer Ah Um and Dub Housing

why would you ever skip ohio it's the second best on the album shy of duk koo kim

this.

Prog can be good, unlike your faggot ass

...

There are probably no frenchies in here but this

moi je prefère Si on avait besoin d'une cinquième saison

glass walls of limbo is literally the best track

...

...

>>>>
great album
but
so much

also l'heptade is better than this (tho si on avait is the best)

This so much for me, tho' I can see what many others might consider flaws to this album.

...

can you recommend anything else like it? my knowledge of 90s québec music is decent, but I haven't gotten too far into the 70s beyond Harmonium

...

I was in the kitchen

fair answer
honestly, black saint isn't even in mingus' top 5, and it'd probably be a bigger number if I'd heard more. can't agree with any of the albums I've heard on here really
"perfect" in the sense that it is consistent, but it's not even the most interesting sonic youth album. still, good answer
too niche
it's my favorite talking heads album, and they're one of my favorite bands, but similar to sonic youth, it still isn't the right sound to be "perfect"

...

...

Who cares, if you guys love it, more power to you. People here worry waaaaaay to much about the opinions of anonymous posters. Embrace your personality.
