Seconding Is There Anybody Out There?

To be honest, the album works in moments, rather than songs. While I would call Comfortably Numb and Hey You songs, Vera, Bring the Boys Back Home, Don't Leave Me Now, etc. feel more like connecting pieces. Those pieces have some of the best moments on the album, like the end of Don't Leave Me Now.

Run Like Hell, Waiting For the Worms, In the Flesh Part 2

Best to Worst. I've listened to this album more than is healthy.

>The Thin Ice
>Hey You
>Empty Spaces +(What shall we do now, The continuation that's only in the movie)
>Comfortably Numb
>The Trail
>When The Tigers Broke Free (Only in the Movie)
>In the Flesh
>Another Brick Pt.3
>Goodbye Blue Sky
>Waiting for the Worms
>Outside the Wall
>Mother
>Is There Anybody Out There?
>Run Like Hell
>Another Brick in the Wall Pt.1
>Vera
>Nobody Home
>The Show Must Go On
>The Happiest Days of Our Lives
>Another Brick pt.2
>Bring the Boys Back Home
>Don't Leave Me Now
>Goodbye Cruel World
>One of My Turns
>Young Lust
>Stop

One of My turns should not be that low made a mistake.

>Don't Leave Me Now that low

>pink floyd without syd

The end of Don't Leave Me Now is absolutely fantastic.

>this nigga know it

Hey (you)

i feel like i could only rank the songs in this way if i were to listen to the wall on shuffle, thereby forcing me to appreciate each song it its own right instead of in its place in the album
and that sounds like a terrible idea my dude

Who are you quoting?

>he didn't like echoes
>he didn't like ANY of wish you were here
>he didn't like dark side
>he didn't like comfortably numb
>he didn't like the gunner's dream

wowzers that's pretty contrarian my lad

>forcing me to appreciate each song it its own right instead of in its place in the album
If an album can't allow you to easily do both, then it's a not very good album to begin with.

>doesn't understand waters

atom heart mother was the only gilmour album that can compare to piper.

no shit, its already a stupid question to ask. Like what your favorite sixth of a painting. Or sequence in a movie. All songs have their perfect place in the album, like Young lust is meant to sound cliche and corny to give the sense of young sexual venting. Now this depreciates the song obviously but as a bigger cohesive whole to the album it improves it.
As i said I listened to this album. too many times, (who tf woukd listens to it on shuffle) so I know what im talking about.

This makes perfect sense. You can't compare the tracks on an album like The Wall.

I honestly dont understand how the laws of the universe allow someone to be such a faggot that they like pink floyd
