I just found I have ADD. I need music to fit this feel bros. it's a sad time..

Ask Avant-Math God, he's our resident expert on ADDcore.

Die Meistersinger.

I have ADD
My favorite albums are Close to the Edge, Laughing Stock, "Heroes", Ys, Animals, Blood on the Tracks, the list could go on

just set your albums to play songs at random

ADD and ADHD don't exist, and don't bother taking pills because it's just stimulants and won't benefit you in any way. If you feel like you have trouble giving something attention for a prolonged time I suggest you change your lifestyle.

Stop masturbating, eating sweets, and eat something healthier because it will benefit your brain (omega 3 fatty acids, such as hemp seeds, flaxseeds etc). I know this from experience as I was too diagnosed with ADD/ADHD although at a very early age.

Thanks for your concern user, but that doesn't sound anything like me. I don't even like sugary things. And I hate soda other than Coke and 7up which I only have on special occasions.

I also recently got diagnosed by a friendly psych with ADD

I used ritalin twice, didnt work
I think I might have depression instead but it sounds too corny to tell him

>ADD and ADHD don't exist
They're much more real than meme depression. It's just that they're not disorders and just a neurological adaptation which is of no use to us any more.

So what's some ADDcore? I'm genuinely interested.

...

nightcore

>everyone is me

Word up user, I was diagnosed with ADD as a kid. It probably feels like your life is over, and that you'll always struggle as much as you are now, but honestly, I'm 30 now and things turn out great. Don't ever let adults or "superiors" tell you that shit will ruin your life, ADD can be overcome.
Favourite album is Kid A, so maybe try that?

Literally just top 40 as that's all your brain can handle

>I'm 30

Someone at Cred Forums is actually older than me thank Christ

But yeah what this old ass user said. I took concerta for years and it killed my sex drive and gave me horrible insomnia.

It helped me get through high school but once you get to college feel free to flush those meds, they're just a detriment. Having ADD is actually great, you get to experience so much.

fuck you user and your misconceptions :(

Why is it a sad time? I was glad when I found out I had ADD because then I was actually able to deal with it.

What's with people not believing in mental illnesses? Is this because of all the dumb kids online who self diagnose themselves for the title, or is this just the general attitude towards psychology?

I'm in college right now and it doesn't affect my performance that much. I just hate the idea of taking meds, I'm not against them but I don't want to get involved. I might just play it off or something so I don't have to put on Ritalin or some other stupid shit.
Even if you're being a sarcastic asshole this is actually in my top 20.

>stop masturbating
anyone got any tips on giving up porn/reducing masturbation, i feel like i'm on the verge of addiction

It's sad because I thought I was just a little anxious and I was going about my life thinking the way I think, feel, and act isn't normal and others do the same thing. It's rocked my world, user, it really has. To know I have a neurological disorder has just fucked me all the way up. I knew I lacked some gray matter but damn.

I was born a tranny, life sucks, be happy that you have something that is super easy to deal with. It seems like you're more upset with the label than anything else, I mean you're still the same person and nothings really changed, except that you have a new label attached to you. You don't get to be alive for very long, don't sweat the small stuff

Thanks I feel a little better.

>meds
inb4 DUDE WEED but I smoked a lot through high school and college, and I think it helped the ADD to a point, but ultimately it's medication in one form or another. Ritalin sucks though, marijuana at least will make some things fun and can be sociable.

I'm reasonably confident that they can't force to take medication if you're old enough to be in college. Still, you should try it for a few weeks and see how you feel.

same 30yofag here, it's also not a coincidene that TONS of creative people and legendary musicians from Mozart up to Lennon have had ADD or some similar shit.

jus sayin

Machine Girl. This, and Gemini
