not digging all the metal picks
the others are k
check out tony molina - dissed and dismissed

was that aimed at metal in general or my taste specifically?
you have some good stuff in your chart
you might like dazzling killmen - face of collapse

i'm not really into metal but it was for your picks specifically. Ved buens ende is great but the others are really meh imo
nice rec, digging it

i guess i'd swap my rec for Painkiller - Guts of a virgin for you
i just rec'd molina for the crunchy solos

youtube.com/watch?v=DdhdGJ9A0xg
youtube.com/watch?v=dsawrH9bnFI
youtube.com/watch?v=LbhbcJ3Xi54

you got a nice aesthetic going

>what's the one in the middle?
I'm guessing you're talking about the RZ one

Pellegrini Quartett / Jürg Henneberger / Maruta Staravoitava / Pavlos Serassis / Patrick Stadler / Orsolya Sepsi / Éva Csizmadia / Lucie Martin / Hans-Peter Schulz / Molly McDolan / Dafne Vicente-Sandoval / Jardena Flückiger / Christoph Bösch / Helena Winkelman / Oliver Margulies / Ellen Fallowfield / Clara Gervais / Stephan Schmidt / Leonardo Idrobo Arce – Jakob Ullmann: Fremde Zeit Addendum

Real cool fusion of modern classical and lowercase philosophies. Eerie and beautiful, quiet and subdued. Should be down your alley, since you like Scelsi.

have some additional recommendations as well:

Hal Galper – Now Hear This
Solistenensemble des Philharmonischen Orchesters Freiburg / Solistenensemble des SWR Sinfonieorchesters Baden-Baden und Freiburg / Solistenchor Freiburg / ensemble recherche / Experimentalstudio der Heinrich-Strobel-Stiftung des SWR, Freiburg / André Richard / Peter Hirsch / Kwamé Ryan – Luigi Nono: Prometeo, Tragedia dell'ascolto
Steven Osborne – Olivier Messiaen: Vingt Regards Sur L'Enfant-Jésus

>anthony shakir

im early for once, yet, i cant rec anybody for shit

>nice aesthetic
hm, thanks, i guess presentation is the most important. i was aiming for something minimal

>Should be down your alley, since you like Scelsi.

Strongly recommend checking them out. Clara Iannotta's A Failed Entertainment is one of my favorites from this year.

>why i got a power pop album as a rec
yeah, it's a bit off but i guessed you'd figure out lmao
really sweet soloing and short tracks, it's pretty cool actually, idk, it may seem off but maybe it clicks

Painkiller is going to work better for you, i think, but yeah both are sweet
Yep, great label indeed. I just recently discovered them with the Scelsci on my chart and a Feldman comp. that was great too.
>Clara Iannotta
aaaand another one to the recs bag. thanks a lot!
perfect af
i wish smog made more stuff like Julius Caesar, i don't like his other things as much. and arthur russell is perfect too but it just made me sad how he changed the direction after world of echo. that album is fucking awesome.

shit ive been listening to in the past 4 and a half days.

Cool, remember liking Reduced Life Expectancy back in 2013. This sounds good as well, I'll check out this more recent EP for sure. Thank you.

Matthew Revert / Vanessa Rossetto – Earnest Rubbish
Clara Iannotta – A Failed Entertainment

I dunno, it's crazy. Just like this track:
youtu.be/cwZiogq4jpY

About the japanese music essentials. Well it's almost almost complete and . there's only a few minor details I have to work with, the problem is that the layout and the background aren't "aesthetically" pleasing me. That is, I was doing all the design of the chart using topsters (for rows and names) + paint (to edit the spots/rows) and photoshop (background, text + other custom stuff). It took me a lot of time to make the minor details and I am still not sure what kind of layout would be the optimal choice for exibition. For example, placing albums on a side and names and genre tags to the other, or placing names under the albums and then categoerizing them under general genre umbrellas to make it easier to look at. The design of a product is always a troubling question. I worked on the former style for about a week and it's almost ready, but I don't know if it is a practical chart because I think people will just get bored of looking at the posters and then having to scroll back to the right to check the names and genres (like pic related) so I'm considering starting it all over again with a more practical design. The quality of the albums themselves is absolutely overwhelming to me (and that says a lot really), but the other stuff is not as cool as it can be.

So anyways, for those waiting for the japanese music essentials, it'll probably be ready either by tomorrow night or friday...in this case I may or not be posting it until saturday at afternoon.

...

Sounds good. I'm excited for this. I would say the best thing would be to publish it as fast as possible, so we maybe can work on the design together? There's always changes to be made on that front.

avant-teen general?

mature

i suppose this wasnt meant to be directed at me

gay poseurs

did you even look at the charts before posting that lo? what the hell is avant-teen about

y-you too

SHHHH it's just bait

The Haxan Cloak - Excavation
The Vaselines
KFC Murder Chicks - Cortexrampage came out 2016
Swirlies - Blonder Tongue Audio Baton
Anything from the Sublime Frequencies catalog

These are my most listened to records of last week. Looking for recs.

red krayola - parable of arable land

+Burial, Bjork, Earl
+DOOM, 2814

placement in sections irrelevant

who am i kidding tho

its trash anyway

pls h8

fire of love underrated much, noice

fire of love is a masterpiece
the preaching the blues cover is amazing on many levels

that set fire to flames album is a masterpiece. listen to natural snow buildings - the dance of the moon and the sun for more like that

U P D A T E D
soft machine - fourth
centipede - septober energy

If you enjoy crescendocore music like God Is An Astronaut you should take a listen to If These Trees Could Talk's self titled album if you haven't already. It is kinda generic like the vast majority of third-wave post rock nowadays but not to the extreme level and the overall sound is fairly similar to what you can hear on AIVAIB.

mad props for eternal rhythm
its a spiritual journey

it is isn't it? i like how pretty it actually is if you pay attention

Why do you like Hole more than Nail? I'm curious

my favorite part about the album is how every second is worth it, one of those albums that detach me from reality during the listen
don cherry crafted something else with it honestly
