Gorillaz, Beck, Avril Lavigne and Blink 182, also Eminem. My mates all liked 50 Cent and Nelly.
Video game music.
Kept me off all the edgy teenage nu metal bullshit around at the time, so I'm grateful for it.
Naruto AMVs with linked park and papa roach
My whole life has been one long walk of redemption from my past
Ugh this

I loved Goo Goo Doll's Dizzy Up The Girl, and all of Our Lady Peace's albums.
Still do, actually. There's good rock there.
Beatles, Pink Floyd, that sort of gaf
Please don't be so rough with him
I was into the standard System of a Down, Rammstein, Beatles, Iron Maiden
A LOT of dadrock and psychedelic music. I think about the only band I still like from those days is the Doors. Sick to fucking death of the Beatles.
Most of my friends weren't into music except one who liked Rage Against the Machine and angsty music like that. I never had that phase myself.
and
Meatloaf
Fall Out Boy, System of A Down, Bullet For my Valentine, Linkin Park, Eminem, Fort Minor, Green Day
That's all I can remember for now.
obviously aleatoric music and number stations
but seriously, standard nu metal and nme-core
Ambient noise field recordings
Dadrock
Prodigy, Nirvana
>tfw an older kid asks you what music you like, you say you don't listen to music, and he calls you gay
wtf I love boipucci now
dad rock and coldplay
I didn't have any friends
led zeppelin, black sabbath
three days grace, mcr, green day
Fat Boy Slim, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Apollo 440

What the hell is going on in that webm
96. That's about the time I discovered Merzbow and Whitehouse.

I don't have "mates" because I'm not a gay Brit
pink floyd, pantera, metallica, megadeath, judas priest
Queen, System of a Down, Rammstein, Peja/Slums Attack, Paktofonika, Kaliber 44
I did have beiber fever
me and a few other guys covered Sugar by SOAD
for the talent show
solely Eminem.
>Mating at 12 years old
What third world shithole are you from?
Musical taste was the smallest of my issues when I was 12
probably just because you got music from friends more often than finding it online
Disturbed, my dad likes them.
this was considered our GOAT album back in the day. Bring a copy to school to listen to during lunch period and you were considered cool, especially if you let others listen in
Man, Rammstein was the shit for me
Who's this qt
that was 2008 and i just discovered the internet. so shit like real estate, beach fossils, ganglians, fluffy lumbers, etc.... before any of them released full lengths.
...
Pantera
Prong
White zombie
Perl jam
Smashing pumpkins
Tool
Stp
Shit like that thanks big bro r.i.p
videoame OSTs, theme songs of UK TV shows and the soundtrack to The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The Offspring
Green Day
I didn't listen to music
Power Pop and Alternative Rock like:
The Posies
The DB's
The Beach Boys
The Beatles (Not either genre but whatever)
The Replacements
The Cure
Elvis Costello
Superdrag
I pretty much just listened to what my parents listened to (This is mostly my dad though, except for The Cure)
This being said I didn't really have friends, and anyone I knew listened to dubstep and top 40 frick.
...
He is pretty cute (not in a pedo way tho)
simple plan
only simple plan
Ska and Speed Metal
Fucking right!
Its still awesome. Im not going to stop listening just because a ton of autistic amv's came around and ruined the fan base.
A bad fanbase does NOT mean the actual thing around it is bad.
Same here bro
I listened to that shit too
viking metal lol

My only friend and I started browsing Cred Forums when were 12 or so, so we were listening to Cred Forumscore through middle school
Aphex Twin
Thorbbing Gristle
SPK
Nurse With Wound
Whitehouse
Pink Floyd
Brian Eno
The Beatles
thats why you didnt have any other friends
I bet you were homeschooled
You we 12 when dubstep is a thing, meaning your under 20, if not 18. Why the fuck am I still on Cred Forums on my age god dammit
stay away from Cred Forums and its fine
That's pretty patrician for a twelve year old desu
I just listened to what my mom listened to when I was 12, so Metallica, Saliva, Nelly, and the Space Jam soundtrack
>tfw had no cute bf when i was younger
I was about to say the same thing but then I realized the nsa might think Im a pedophile
Disturbed, Skillet and FantomenK.
I also hated Kanye West.
This is so hugely fucking creepy holy fuycking shit is this creepy.
Radio head and shoe gaze
I listened to what my dad played. King Crimson, Black Moth Super Rainbow, My Bloody Valentine, lots of cool stuff. My dad has great taste in music for someone his age. I also was getting into System of a Down at that time, and listened to the radio to fit in with my friends after my friends made fun of Black Moth Super Rainbow when we listened to it on the bus
i was mostly into dadrock and nu-metal around that time. my mates where into the same shit.
Daft Punk, Justice, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, Chemical Brothers, Modeselektor, Underworld. Mostly EDM stuff.
Crush 40
I didn't listen to music when I was 12.
Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Slipknot, Korn, Millencolin, NOFX
Then I met a guy who listened to Radiohead and I got into music
Always remember getting in trouble for singing drop the pressure in school. Good times those were
A lot of dadrock, Green Day, and unbelievably shitty EDM. Interestingly, my dad actually played a key role in transitioning me from dadrock to more patrician music by giving me a Talking Heads greatest hits cd.
Sonic Adventure 2 Soundtrack
Mostly shitty ska, could be worse though
My condolences.
pandora
Black metal
Nirvana was all that mattered to me. I was really happy when my mom bought me With The Lights Out for Christmas.
I later got into Guns n' Roses, Metallica and Iron Maiden.
My mates were listening Slipknot and Korn, and I didn't like those for some reason.
NOFX, Dayglo Abortions, Dead Kennedys, Dude Ranch era Blink.
I would fuk his boipussi
I'm not sure about 12
But 13/14 I was really into dadrock and trance.
Those were pretty much the only two types of music I listened to.
System of a down and electronic music
Bullet's first album rules tho
...
Mah niggas
Not gay but I'd fuck him t b h
marilyn manson, silverchair, garbage

the offspring is another one i was into at 12. forgot all about them.
Aoow :3
Jesus. What does that do to a person?
death grips
Holy shit what ever happened with this kid? He had a dedicated group of stalkers for a while
My friends listened to pop music (pop back then was good, for eg Blondie, Michael Jackson etc.) whereas I was interested in Metallica, Slayer, Death and Eminem
I listened to Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Justice, Fatboy Slim, The Killers, The Chemical Brothers, etc. etc. I think Kanye was my favourite at the time.
Really just whatever my parents put on, and a lot of what they liked was stuff that I like to this day like MBV and bright eyes.
At the time for some reason I really wanted to listen to pop music but I knew my parents would make fun of me, so I eventually ended up liking my chemical romance which is probably why I'm here today. Thanks mom.
I forgot to mention, I also loved the Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Prince, George Michael and The Cure because my dad always played it.
>12 years old
>normal people listening to Dubstep
>being this blatantly underage
Mods!
who is this semen demon?!
dubstep was a thing before 2010...
Skrillex's most well known album came out nearly six years ago, so if he was twelve while listening to it, he's probably 18 now.
Not with normal people, the first big break of Dubstep was with skrillex in like 2012, so connect the dots
Scary monsters and nice sprites was his first big tune i think. That was released in 2010. If someone was 12 then, they'd be 18 now (the case with me)
Comb prince is cute! CUTE!
what is this shit
r9k needs to be purged
I liked foo fighters, linkin park, slipknot's iowa, system of a down's steal this album, gorillaz. that was 2003
Weezer's blue album, Green Day dookie
I was 12 when the radio and MTV were good
>Video game music.
Anything else and you were a tryhard contrarian little faggot
Says the little spastic mong with shit taste.
I was fucking insufferable. I though post-punk revival was the fucking tops, and I was not very open-minded at all like not one bit.
90s rave music, it was pretty fuckin sick
>tfw the smack my bitch up music video
I always watched that AMV of that sand guy (gaarah?) against bowl hair cut guy (rock lee?) that had In The End as the song
I was living for eurodance
Dr Alban, Ace For Base, 2 Unlimited, the list goes on youtu.be
