current bread is super stale and has been lingering on for hours waiting for it to be killed
post music, give feedback if you want feedback, give recs to inflate other's egos sorry i mean give anyone dropping by an idea of which are the most popular and/or best artists on the thread
im starting to write some compositions for a future project that i have a few ideas for, and oh my god its so tiring to write all the little dots and everything by hand, how did beethoven do it? nonetheless it's pretty fun to do it as tiring as it is, plus it helped me look at my music in a different way and gave me some fantastic ideas for what to do with it. probably wont do it again tho lol its easier to just write down 'strum Em 160 times in a row' in a notepad document
yamir.bandcamp.com/album/yamir >post-rock >guitar ambient // dark ambient >experimental electronics >it can get a little droney at times >small bits of noise rock >available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and others

Stevie Moore, Guided by Voices, Beatles, Animal Collective, Robert Wyatt, the Olivia Tremor Control, etc. >attempts at "lush" arrangements using harmonica, recorder, chimes, rain stick, accordion, fake bassoon, Hanna-Barbera cartoon sound effects, bird noises, singing saw, tambourine, fake glockenspiel, synthesizers, classical guitar, a fence, violin, water, lap harp, banjo, soda can, microtonal (busted) ukelele, field recordings, vocal harmonies, etc. >crunchy >cringey lyrics about the bittersweet feeling of graduating high school and stuff like that >includes attempt at a "ragtime" song
I'll catch up and give feedback the newcomers soon. In the mean time, please rate or review my music on RYM. it takes no effort, but its gratifying to me on a whole new level.
Nice, I like all the effects on the drums. Feels very fluid. Sounds old-school and experimental at the same time.
I wouldn't try and get a rapper on this, it's too unique. It works well on it's own. I love the lo-fi samples and droney textures.
Nice vibes, but i think less stereo use would benefit this. The mixes are too simple to justify really flailing things around like you do. For example, the snare on the first track sounds like its been crowbarred into the back of my head because of the intense chorus(?) you put on it. Keep it up, you clearly have a knack for melodies and the like.
Oh man. that first track is really something. Maybe be more creative with effects on your voice, you sound very dry. Great stuff though.
This sounds really professional. i'm out of my depth here
your link is re-directing to the bc homepage.
Very pretty. I'll listen to this all the way through soon, it's right up my alley.
This isn't just Audacity raw data, there's some delightful editing and musicianship here. Rec.

Description: "An EP I made." -AP Macroeconomics
With a name like AP Macroeconomics, you would expect something completely horrible or completely funny. Even some of the song titles would seem like jokes. But behind the oddity of a name, Thomas Meskil presents the listener something totally opposite. Mumbling guitars, cohesively cluttered percussion, somber soaked vocals, humble, like a hug from a wise, old friend. Compatible with lyrics that feel both personal to the man behind the name and universal to all who listen, AP Macroeconomics is definitely a musician to keep your eye on.
Now available for stream and download! CDs available at AP Macroeconomic's bandcamp as well!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Thomas some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.
I've still been really busy lately. As for themes of possible next releases, it'll probably be a mix of the glitch I've been doing (more like Osen Formation, less like Square1) and some dark ambient (not like Weakling, kinda like some of the parts on 00R1C)

now this is a jam; I'm definitely gonna be listening to this more later >millions of synthesizers >tales about rural suburbia and fields riiiiiiiiiiiiiight up my alley

>This isn't just Audacity raw data thanks. Wanted to amalgamate it beyond the norm. Motel song is cool in how the minimal aspect lets me fill in the dots and find great grooves against the ones you already supplied.
Josiah Ward
Used to do this type of stuff, I'll have to be honest though this is better than what I did

>This isn't just Audacity raw data, there's some delightful editing and musicianship here. Rec. yeah I what you're doing with the raw data!
>nite ride/home here but that was kinda what i was intending to do haha! with my synthwave stuff i like to create chords and timbres "spaceys" and strange enough to mess with the listener ear. the problem as you mentioned is that some people may found this overwhelming or exagerated idk. thank you for the feedback anyways! (and there is no chorus on the snare drums, just the classic 80's reverb + fat eq)
Seance will come to us if our pumpkin patch is sincere enough

If you want to be taken seriously, even if you dont think your music is "serious" dont ask those questions.
About the covers, stop trying to be like every single Cred Forums kid trying to become the next big meme. Sweat Farm is chill tho :).

I leave it there because if I had my way, I would have access to the crappiest early demos of every artist I enjoy. It's not about mastery when you listen to stuff like that; it's about peeking into their creative process.
Ryan Powell
as they said. leave them, if you have at least 1 fan he would love that
Hey thanks man. I gave some of your stuff a listen. I'm not a big fan of ambient so I can't say I loved it, but there were some standout parts, like the flute sample or whatever it is that pops up at 2:42 in Red Dune; that sounded very lucid. Or the guitar riff that comes in around the middle of the song after that. Neat album cover art too; looks like a propaganda poster
Ian Nelson
Actually this had some very interesting moments. Cool blend of sounds. Some of the bass was mixed too loud though. I recommend giving feedback and stuff if you want more detailed responses.
I find it funny that you charge 9 bucks for a digital download, while guys like or are free. thats fun.
But honestly I really like some of the patterns that you use on your music, would love to make them fit on an experimental film.

Well, I'm not making music just to make music, I do wanna make money off it. Besides, the individual tracks are 33 cents each. It's also over an hour long and has 33 tracks. Does that mean you have something that my tracks could work on? Because I can easily alter my tracks, they're short enough to make alterations, to extend them or even shorten them.
colorz it was pretty nice >analog electronica YES LORD My favourite album currently. I am obsessed. good noizu kill yourself senpai, it's not even in the top 10 ITT FRESH NEW ALBUM IS OUT BOYS varsas.bandcamp.com/album/vtizedekre-ottfelejtett-gy-l-let-ii >sequel to the first Shum album >fullu blownu noizu with some poetry by a friend of mine >the first and last tracks differ from the rest just like in the first one
Nice. The use of the heavy reverb really sends you to another place. Really great. I definitely see The Caretaker influence. This music might be more effective than Caretaker because of how loud and more reverbed it is. I also find it to be more colorful, maybe in part due to to the cover.
Ian Phillips
I usually record at a high volume, with an SM57, so earplugs are needed.
Evan Gutierrez
I dont think its an issue of overuse of stereo its just that the tracks leans a little to the right.
Benjamin Kelly
Holy shit this so good, much love from one noise artist to another

IF ANYONE WANTS ME TO REVIEW THEIR MUSIC REPLY TO THIS POST
This is underrated. It's like the caretaker but a lot more choppy and the use of the loops and reverb are really great. actually more impressed with this than the caretakers new album. Great job highly recced This is some finely crafted vaporwave I've been a fan of yours for a while. Bounty is really great and is probably your best album I'm impressed with the soundscape and ambience on these tracks. Downloaded and recced Catchy fun music. I like this The tracks are a bit longer than expected and don't really go anywhere. It's alright but needs more fleshed out Loud, abrasive, chaotic. Good shit This is bad just stop trying Found your shit in the shugazi thread and I like it a lot. Reminds me of dividend but more spacey Ironic music is still bad music Hey this is pretty good. I like the riffage good stuff
