Surf's Up >>>>> Today >>> Love You > Friends
Today > Surf's Up > Love You = Friends
9 > 8.5 > 8 > 8 would be my ratings.
Today > Surf's Up > Love You Friends
replace Friends with Sunflower
Love You > Sunflower > Today! = Surf's Up > Friends
>everyone ranking friends last
shit taste t b h
Friends>Love You>Today>Surf's Up
Surf's Up > Today > Friends > Love You
>Surf's Up last
Shit taste m8
Love You > Surf's Up > Today > Friends
Friends is at least an 8 though
Today > Friends = Surf's Up > Love You
today > surfs up > love you > friends
Surf's Up = Friends > Today > Love You
I wish they replaced Student Demonstration time with Fourth of July
Surf's Up > Today > Love You > Friends
I like student demonstration time
no you dont
who cares, every fucking album sounds the same, beach boys haven't developed a little bit in their whole career, unlike the beatles
do you want to know how i know you haven't listened to the beach boys
c'mon it's not that bad
yes i have, i listened to pet sounds and surf's up, and between each albums there's a time gap of 5 years, and still sounds the same to me
I mean it isn't bad, but it dosen't fit Surf's Up
love you > surf's up > today >>>>> friends
>nobody ranking love you first
Surf's up is overrated
...
Any one of the four albums in the OP show markedly varying styles and genres. Ymmv how good they are, but the Beach Boys sound most definitely changed from the 60s to 70s
even if it reverted back to a glossy pop mean in the 80s.
do you want to know how i know you barely listened to those albums
Friends is an indie folk album !! super sweet sounds
WAKE THE WORLD WITH A BRAND NEW MORNING
its just hippy dippy yacht folk shit
>2016
>still haven't given Brian a hug yet
Why didn't they let Bruce write more songs? He had the most brian composing style, he wrote some really cute jams. He and Al are super underrated
fuck you faggot
honestly bruce's compositions, while pleasant, are just brian-lite. i like listening to them, but they just aren't as good as what carl and dennis were coming up with in the 70s.
surf's up>love you=today>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
friends
>people who didn't even listen to Friends
>not even linking the best song on the album
Today>Love You>Surf's Up>Friends
Bruce wrote like 2 good songs and everything else he did is insufferably schmaltzy. Even his good songs are schmaltzy.
Today > Friends > Surf's Up > Love You
In the order that I generally like listening to them
>all this Friends hate
no one hates friends it's just not a very substantial album
at first i thought it was underrated then i thought it was overrated and now i just don't like it
it's good for a few listens then it just gets annoying
idk how to rank the others but Surf's Up is def #1
Friends is sweet but it's pretty generic minus the fantastic harmonies
Love You is interesting in terms of being a time capsule of Brian back in '77 but other than that it's just plain weird. Although that's not a bad thing. Adult/Child is just downright bizarre
Sunflower is really good when you consider just how hard they were pushing themselves to make it, I'm amazed that Surf's Up was made from OUTTAKES of the sessions
Still listening to their stuff tho so I can't say what the others are like tho
Cred Forums has a really huge biased against Tame Impala for some reason. they love the beach boys and animal collective, but when it comes to the beatles and tame impala you get nothing but hate
animal crossing OST
