I've never been in a chart thread where I haven't recognized so many of the albums. I'm gonna listen to the one with the coolest cover from each chart.

Sorry I couldn't contribute since I'm normie garbage. I'll start with the Sweet Trip album.

shaking my head

I'll take a crack at it. It's kind of eclectic, though. But based on the post-hardcore and the shoegaze you got on your chart you should give these a crack.

The Jazz June - The Medicine
The Veldt - Afrodisiac
Airiel - Winks & Kisses
Smart Went Crazy - Con Art
Autoclave - Autoclave

I like these.

Given how frequently my chart is ignored I'll take any opportunity to post it again.

its okay user
check out quasimoto the unseen, its almost a companion piece to madvillainy

also fair warning the opening track to that sweet trip album is unlike the rest of the album so be prepared for that

maybe try having more interesting taste

That's one of the few albums I heard. Another user recc'd me it in a different chart thread. Great album.

And I'm 3 songs in (I think). It's decent so far. I liked the first track a lot. Very drum and bass-y.

Asking for reccs and critique like you haven't just stolen the chart I posted a month ago

Does Pillow Talk count as an album?

album on top right?

Yes, for me it count as an album. This five minute and forty seconds long slice of italo-disco perfection satisfy me and quench my thirst for musical experiences in the same way a full album can do.

The London Jazz Composers Orchestra – Ode

sup, not ready to give any recs yet, sorry lads

I ain't knocking it. It's a great track, I just don't think singles go on album charts. We should start doing singles charts.

Anyone wants recs, I mainly listen to jazz.

have u heard bach's inventions and sinfonias?

i would appreciate recs. im

normie af but oh well give me some of that enlightenment

I haven't. I'll give em a look!
You'd probs like Nina Simone's Little Girl Blue, Miles Davis' Miles Ahead and Gerry Mulligan's Night Lights.
You seem to have a preference for vocal jazz but instrumentalists like Mulligan and Davis(during that period of his career) were often going for a similar sort of vibe that singers like Chet and Astrud were going for. I'd encourage you to try connecting with soloists in the same way you do with vocalists if it's not something you already do. It's kind of hard to tell what your wider preferences are with a such sample size so I'm assuming a hell of a lot about how you hear jazz.

Algernon Cadwallader-Some Kind Of Cadwallader

Morphine-Cure For Pain

Melvins Houdini

I like this advice, and ur assumptions are spot on. Thanks for giving such a thoughtful comment.

friends

Is that your real chart?

Black Eyes - S/T

The one OP posted, yeah.

What is the two dinosaurs album

...

Mats Gustafsson & David Stackenäs – Blues

free improv for saxophone and guitar

Looks like a parody, t b h

Exactly, so why is OP trying to pass it off as his own?

please could you tell me the name of the 4th album at the top?

what is the point of making so many of these charts? are you ok?
