wow you really convinced me

uhhhhh youre just gonna leave out atrocity exhibition?

It's a good album, but it sure doesn't have the amazing power of the first two records.

lemonade is not like the others

I've never listened to a Beyonce album and I don't intend to start now, but I do agree this has been the first year in a long time where most of the hyped released actually delivered.

I personally love how incomplete/messy Pablo is, might even be my fav record this year; Blond is very smooth but still very very modern, it's like the memoirs of a bisexual fuccboi as documented in his iPhone notes and put to music; Bonnie Bear has always been a great songwriter but wanted to fuck with the production a little bit in an attempt to shed the whole pensive folkboy image... I think it works on a lot of the songs, though not as well on others. Like I said though, his songwriting has always been on point, so it's a good record regardless.

Pretty happy with the major releases this year.
Dug Wildflower quite a bit too, and Atrocity Exhibition as well.

TLOP and Lemonade are overrated hot garbage that are only liked because of narrative and cult of personality.

Blonde and 22, A Million, while not experimental, were executed nearly flawlessly and are legitimately good.

>listening exclusively to trendy top 40 shit
Don't you have a football game or a high school party or something to attend? You sound like a fucking normie who says things like "yeet"

...

This

I actually don't entirely understand Cred Forums's apathy towards Lemonade. It's one of the best pop albums ever created.

This

Does Cred Forums not like Coloring Book? That was just as hyped up as these, and pretty well regarded by critics

It's good but not as good as the ones I (OP) mentioned.

all normie garbage with no substance

Why does Cred Forums love black music so much? All of these albums are normie trash.

youre fucking trash, thanks for using this trip so i can ignore all your posts frequently

>Bon Iver

What a year, way better than 2015 tho

agree except for 22, a million.

Wildflower tho.

I thought it wasn't that great when it first came out, and it felt pretty forgettable. Just went back and listened to it last week though, and this shit is great.

you know nothing you fucking children

>triggered
>triggered

yep, sounds like pretentious fucking 16 years old to me here, fucking grow up

Triggered is just the new "u mad?"

Disregard anyone that unironically uses it as a child.

it's deep b/c electronics and stuff.

No idea about controversy around it. Just like the album.

Agree with OP

I don't get it. All the albums everyone posted are either shit or horseshit.

>6/10
>5/10
>5/10
>6/10

yeah wow, what an "amazing" year

Don't forget Warlord by Yung Lean

I don't listen to black people music - what do I look like, a cuck?

...

Rec me something like 22 a million without shitty autotune sounds.

All of those have been mediocre.

Actually good music that came out this year:

Steven Julien - Fallen (synth funk)
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Skeleton Tree (art rock)
Kelsey Lu - Church EP (art pop)
Ka - Honor Killed the Samurai (rap)
Jenny Hval - Blood Bitch (art pop)
Equiknoxx - Bird Sound Power (dancehall)
Biosphere - Departed Glories (ambient)
Anxiety - S/T (noise punk)
A Pregnant Light - Rocky (black metal)
Autechre - elseq 1-5 (idm)
Bjarki - Б (techno)
Floorplan - Victorious (house)
Helena Celle - If I Can't Handle Me at My Best, You Don't Deserve You at Your Worst (lo-fi techno)
Huerco S. - For Those of You Who Have Never (And Also Those Who Have) (ambient)
Jessy Lanza - Oh No (synth pop)
Klara Lewis - Too (dark ambient)
Alexandria - Promise (r&b)
Bwana - Capsule's Pride (techno)
Low Jack - Lighthouse Stories (lo-fi techno)
Luxury Elite - noir (vaporwave)
Not Waving - Animals (minimal synth)
The Body - No One Deserves Happiness (post-metal)

You look like a fucking idiot.

2016 has been amazing yeah
but mate what the fuck are you doing touting that trash as the reason why

unfortunately 21 moon water and ___45___ are complete garbage, the other songs are great or perfect though but i feel like those two filler-songs kind of lessen my appreciation for the album

it's been extremely influential and revolutionary in the last 100 or so years with multiple new and timeless genres of music. it just kinda sticks out imo.

lol, most of these albums sucked hard. Please don't flex your shitty taste in music.

>hey everyone im a fucking hipster, please respect my boring opinions

> likes top 40 garbage specifically made for mass appeal
> says others have boring opinions

I want poptimism to LEAVE

wowee look at you. Shouldn't you be busy listening to Fleet Foxes or Uncle Tupelo or something?

Hasn't gotten BNM from Pitchfork yet.
