Bjork is the Kate Bush of the '90s

Bjork is the Kate Bush of the '90s
Karin Dreijer is the Kate Bush of the '00s
Grimes is the Kate Bush of the '10s

Agree?

everything up until grimes

where is her wuthering heights?

Donna Summer is the Kate Bush of the 70s

Joni Mitchell is K Bush of the 70s.

also kys

Nico is the Kate Bush of the 60s

椎名林檎 is the David Bowie of Japan

What's the problem with Grimes? Isn't she on par with Kate Bush? Isn't she one of the best art pop artists ever?

no

>people actually believe this

>people actually believe this
Yes. She's that great. Why that makes you mad? It's just an opinion.

its my opinion she isn't good. why does that make you mad?

all equally overrated

It doesn't make me mad. I just wanted to tell you that you're wrong.

>the american one is the worst as always
why do they always fuck everything up

nobody is the kate bush of ever because she is unmatched and a goddess

What are you talking about? None of them is American.

and I'm telling you the same

bump

Grimes fags need to stay in their containment thread. Worse than the kpop autists desu

>containment
you stupid fuck

Joanna Newsom is the Bush from the '10s

Her singing is too horrible to be considered the Bush of the '10s. Grimes is a much better fit: lots of synths in their music (compare Running Up That Hill with Oblivion), produces her own music, quirky image, studied ballet for 11 years, complete control over their music, great songwriting talent.

bump

Why does Grimes keep getting compared with Bjork on here? That magazine they were both on the cover of keeps getting posted, like that's never happened before.

They haven't got much in common.

I guess she's in her Tonight/Never Let Me Down phase now then, her last album was pretty bad and lately all she's been doing is music for adverts. :(

>They haven't got much in common.
Are you sure?

Common things between Grimes & Bjork:
>weird voices
>quirky, playful personalities
>strange fashion sense
>interesting live shows
>acclaimed electronic music
>dedicated fanbase
>obscure albums before the proper breakthrough albums (Grimes has Geidi Primes & Halfaxa, Bjork has S/T album from 1977)
>eclectic music taste.

um I can say the same thing about inga copeland

>great songwriting talent
I thought you were talking about Grimes.

Be nice to Grimes, user. It's for your own good.
