computer screens are wider than they are tall. placing the sidebar on the side reduces width, whereas placing it on the top or bottom reduces height. when you have much more of one than the other, it's ideal to pick the option that reduces the size of the one you have more of, right?

You're right, I need to remove all of my icons so I can stare at my desktop all day and not work or easily access files and applications. That reminds me, there is the icon hide/show feature, if for some reason you enjoy looking at a photo in one of the more inconvenient ways.

Why the hell do you have music folders on your desktop? Organize that shit by artist, and put it into the music folder.
