The Life of Pablo, while good, is undeniably a mess. I think it could have easily been a solid 9/10, if not higher, with better focus. How would you have ordered TLOP to make it a better album?
>Ultralight Beams >Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 & 2 (with no bleached asshole line) >Famous >No More Parties in LA >Feedback >I love Kanye >Waves >Fade >Low Lights >Highlights >FML >Real Friends >Wolves >Saint Pablo
WDYT?
Tyler Richardson
I've thought the same thing, but I'm torn about whether or not to include St. Pablo. Wolves is such a good ending
Ayden Evans
>Low Lights
why
Camden King
But ima feel like an asshole
Aaron Evans
Because I like highlights so much and it transitions well
Camden Adams
>Ultralight Beam >FSMH Pt. 1 >Pt. 2 >Famous >Feedback >Freestyle 4 >Highlights >I Love Kanye >Waves >30 Hours (Shortened) >No More Parties in LA >Saint Pablo >Fade >FML >Real Friends >Wolves (+Frank's Track)
Noah Allen
Meh, I like it as it is. The only track in it that I don't really like is Freestyle 4. Solid 8 for me.
Blake Rodriguez
Drop Saint Pablo and move No More Parties to later and it's a pretty good order
Evan Carter
1. Ultra Light Beam 2. Father Stretch My Hands, Pts. 1 & 2 3. Famous 4. I Love Kanye 5. FML 6. Real Friends 7. Wolves 8. 30 Hours 9. No More Parties in L.A. 10. Saint Pablo
Juan Mitchell
This but probably with Chance's version of waves in here somewhere.
Sebastian Gutierrez
>No Freestyle 4
John Butler
>nobody putting ulb at the end where it's supposed to be somebody post the tracklist written in a notebook that kanye posted on twitter
Brody White
>No 30 Hours The single version from before the album released and he ruined it with the outro is the best song Kanye has made since MBDTF, easy.
Jackson Johnson
>everybody removing facts and waves go jerk off waiting for "AfricAryan"
Caleb Miller
> end of tracklist.
Matthew Gutierrez
This is the tracklist someone rec'd me and it instantly became an 8.5.
1. Famous 2. No More Parties in LA 3. Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1 4. Pt. 2 5. Feedback 6. Freestyle 4 7. FML 8. Real Friends 9. Saint Pablo 10. Wolves 11. Ultralight Beam 12. Waves
Just fucking trust me. Famous ONLY works as an opener, Ultralight Beam is absolutely fantastic as a penultimate track, and Waves actually becomes a good song as a closer
Jaxon Peterson
Ultralight Beam Father Stretch My Hand Pt. 1 Pt. 2 Famous Low Lights High Lights Waves FML 30 Hours No More Parties In LA Real Friends Wolves Frank's Track Saint Pablo
I think the lack of form on this album isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially because modern hip hop really is pretty formulaic and I think TLOP will (and already has) break the mold, but some tracks were just pretty unnecessary or not good (i.e. Fade)
Nolan Lee
Gonna try this out, I'll get back to you
Josiah Perez
no more parties is a fantastic song but doesnt really fit within the context of the album so i do think it should be the opening tack as just a 'hur kanye got bars' for the puritans
Hunter Morgan
I made the album with this track list a few months ago and in my head canon this is an album about Kanyes hectic, sinful lifestyle that accumulates into his religious revival.
>I love Kanye >Feedback >Facts >Fade >Famous >Silver Surfer >Waves >Freestyle 4 >FML >Real Friends >Wolves >Frank's Track >No More Parties in LA >Highlights >Lowlights >FSMH Pt.1 >Pt.2 >Ultralight Beam >Saint Pablo >30 Hours
This is objectively the most logical track listing if you want to hear a cohesive and conceptual album about Kanyes life
Zachary Anderson
Objective Track Listing coming through >Famous >Father Stretch >Waves >Highlights >30 Hours >No More Parties >Fade >Wolves >Ultralight Beam >Only One
Dominic Robinson
here
Wasn't too bad, Waves actually becomes a nice uplifting catharsis
8/10

Awhile back I made this heavily edited version of TLOP to represent what I thought the album should have been. In keeping with it supposedly being a gospel album, I structured the album around segments of the song Lowlights, which were used as interludes based on parts of a church service. I also mixed the two spoken word songs with other songs so that they don't stick out as much.
1. Opening Prayer: So Help Me God [Part 1 of Lowlights followed by FSMH1 with Ye's verse removed] 2. Fade 3. No More Parties In LA 4. Highlights [First minute or so removed] 5. Famous [With the intro and choruses removed] 6. Sermon 1: Swish [Part 2 of Lowlights followed by Pt. 2] 7. Freestyle 4 8. FML 9. 30 Hours [Single Version] 10. Feedback 11. Sermon 2: Waves [Part 3 of Lowlights followed by Waves with the Silver Surfer played over the ending] 12. Ultralight Beam 13. Real Friends 14. Wolves 15. Benediction: The Life Of Pablo [Part 4 of Lowlights followed by I Love Kanye mixed with Facts]

It's a very good playlist. There are lots of demo versions of these songs, if he used them right with this kind of order, it would be his best album, unfortunately he fucked it up so hardly.
Christian Peterson
i'm interested
got a d/l?
Elijah Reyes
just do the cut msg/yeezy season 3 cut, but with waves.
everything else is crap, or doesn't fit the record.
Brandon Adams
>Ultralight Beam >FSMH Pt 1+2 (without THAT line) >Famous >Freestyle 4 >Waves >FML >Real Friends >Wolves >Franks Track >30 Hours (single cut) >No More Parties >Saint Pablo
